Gallaudet Scout WW-I biplane/seaplane
This was the maiden flight for Allan’s Gallaudet. The first time on water, first taxi, and first short flight. It took place on Mar 4, 2024 at Poway Lake near San Diego, CA.

Allan's Post Flight Comments:
“I had to repair the water rudder cable connection. It had been damaged on the ride home apparently. My solder connection wasn't good. Other than that, the plane was fine, not even any water intrusion (surprising, the way it floated so low in the water). I have added 8oz nose weight and isolation pads where the rigging wires touched, as well as some work on the transportation dolly.”
