I did the same. The words are as relevant today. After a football leg injury 1971, (after I ran 30 yards first), I ended up with torn ligaments and chipped kneecap which placed me in Calgary's children's hospital for 30 days, surgical scars still present. I took my record player/stereo. It was one of the albums I and fellow patients listened to, sometimes at high volume. I still have that album! Great memories.

Gordo. I know what it was like in a hospital when u had to pay for a TV. Sometimes I had to pay for a phone. I hope u found your way and had a good and peaceful life. For me, I have crohnes desease and had very little peaceful days until recently. Hopefully, I can now start to make the music I only dreamed of making. Best wishes always, Robert

One of Pete's best compositions as it translates so well to so many different mediums, as most of his music does, his demos sound so different the the final band versions. Which is one of the reason why The Who was such an amazing band, as those same songs performed by 4 amazing talents, always took on a different life than what was originally intended. Thanks for the amazing take on a true classic, I'm sure it will be the highlight of my day.

Only the look in/ behind your blue eyes at the end are missing for a perfect video. But your interpretation of this song is amazing as always.
