Not countering the Valakut awakening was an L. Rachel didn't have anything to cast in her current hand. Giving her the 2 treasures wouldn't have mattered. We know this because she had 5 mana before Valakut. Take this L CGB. lmaooo

1:14:10 Regarding Jimmy's piles, I think the answer here is Pitiless Plunderer in its own pile and then the other three. Plunderer is such a huge target that it could warrant getting removed on its own, anything else you put with it is just going to die alongside it. Plus if the pile of three gets sacrificed, Teysa and Plunderer see them all die and give Jimmy six treasures to rebuild with, while the Plunderer sticks around for more treasures later. Easy to replay Teysa, just get a different draw engine going instead of Morbid Opportunist, and live without Massacre Girl. Then on the other hand, if Josh (or his helper) picks the Plunderer, that huge bomb spell basically just amounted to a single removal spell which probably also feels bad from Josh's perspective.

This made me tear up. Despite any drama, any particular scene, any sort of toxicity or negativity, this game brings me so much true joy. These people have helped pump so much life into the current stage of MTG's existence. Specifically, I have such deep respect for Prof and seeing him go all the way to the end was heartwarming.
