But technically it's "for all nights to come," and the spirit of the oath definitely implies that it should go on forever. However, we agree that it's definitely a grey area and that's why Jon IS right in deciding to end it, but also, because he's going to replace it with a better/nobler cause.

I wasn't trying to knock down Jamie skill level, though just because he was tought by the best does not make him as best. Ned also had the advantage in that he didn't fight in tourneys and nobody knew what he was capable of, whereas Jamie has fought several people and seen them fight in tourneys and knew what they were able to do. just think that he was surprised at how well Ned fought for his age. I do acknowledge that Ned definitely would have been killed by Sir Arthur Dayne, yet he held his own for quite a while and quite longer than anybody else. in the books. Arthur Dayne was actually quite impressed with his skill and knew he was skilled.

I will sadly have to disagree with you on the tower of joy part (With the awesomeness.) It wasn't that awesome and it felt very very disappointing. Especially with Ser Arthur Dayne's Great Sword being just a normal long sword in fact it looks almost identical to Ned's long sword that he used to fight Arthur. Plus the helm? Really? The helm was such a disappointment for Ser Owsell. It was supose to be a bat that spread it's wings on the helm, a clear picture of how well his house sigil was made into his head piece. So many things that went on in the tower of joy scene that was just fuckin terrible.

It was actually one of my favorite episodes up until that part. We already watched that scene in season 1, I don't need to watch it again. (& yeah, I get they were trying to mirror the scene from the first season but it was just too much imo) I hated how they all bowed down to her exactly like they did before. They're obviously rushing everything to get to the end of the show. Idk, I just didn't like it. devsox1 yer, to be honest i believe it was a silly decision based off of the budget. they couldn't afford the dragons to do some cool stuff, so instead the opt out for some ridiculous dues ex machina. if it weren't limited by the budget; i think a scene involving drogon swoop down and show us that dany has 100% control over him, and spares the khals and basically intimidates them into her servitude would have been a much more fitting one in my opinion, but yeah... RIP dorne story line, utter rubbish in the show

"There must always be a Stark in Winterfell." Rob is dead. Jon is not a Stark. Sansa is technically now a Bolton. Arya has no name. Bran has bigger fish to fry. That only leaves Rickon. I think the Umbers are loyal to him and him alone. And I think Jon's destiny lies beyond Winterfell even if he returns to reclaim it for the Starks.
