Love how much you appreciate the music and dialogue. One thing I love about this show is that in addition to creating villains you really hate, it also gives you so many characters to love. Even with the loss of such main characters as Catelyn Robb, and Ned, you still have characters to love including Arya, Brienne, Davos, Sam, Jon, Tyrion, Dany, Sansa, and even the Hound & Jaime. Your character rankings seem fair to me given how much of the show you've seen. I anticipate some being raised as their characters develop. Saying any more might be spoiler-ish. I will say that the actress that plays Lady Olenna, Diana Rigg, is one of my favorites. You are too young to know her for the iconic role of Emma Peel in the 60's TV show The Avengers. She is a 9 time Emmy nominee (won once) and BAFTA (British awards) winner along with being one of the best Bond girls, if not the best.

I've started catching up with your videos after you had already finished the series, but i'd like to say something about Stanis, since you said that not many people comment on him. Me and my boyfriend - when we watched the show for the first time - we LOVED his character SO MUCH! Not because he's a great person, but because of his storyline. We were sad when it ended, but at the same time we felt that it was a good moment to finish him. We called him „the broken man”. Blinded by his duties combined with devotion to the Red Woman and her religion (I never felt that HE actuslly believed in The Lord of Light), which both enden tragically and showing how far a man can go with maniacal tendencies. We also adored his introduction. The way he corrected Davos's son on writing the letter to whole Westeros showed what kind of a person we was in one scene. About Robert: „Not beloved, I never loved him” or about Jamie „call him Jamie the Kingslayer” and then „he is still a night, make it SER Jamie Lannister the Kingslayer”, achhh, true perfection!

The leeches did work, it just doesn't work automatically. The Red Woman basically cursed all 3 of the remaining pretenders contending for the Iron Throne with blood magic. Blood magic is the only real type of magic that exists in this story, it's how Daenerys brought the dragons back to life and it's why the Red Woman burns people who have King's Blood. King's Blood is just another term for Valyrian blood, the Baratheons have Valyrian ancestry and before they ruled Westeros the Targaryens were the true Kings and they of course are pure blooded Valyrians. Blood magic is also how the Valyrians tamed dragons and how the Children of the Forest allegedly broke the Arm of Dorne in an attempt to halt the Andal Invasion thousands of years prior to Game of Thrones.

Something to know about that world. The "Guest right" is something that is consider sacred. If you are given meat, bread, salt and wine you're protected by that right both visitors and host. What Walder Frey did is consider like one of the worst thing you can do that no Gods will ever forgive you. Frey obviously is an evil man to the heart so I dont think there was ever a time when he considered he was going to heaven anyway...

Stannis is insanely popular among the book fans (often topping ranking lists as the #1), but many were displeased about how they adapted him on the show (they removed a LOT of his good stuff). So he didn't do as well for the show's fans. Anyway, this is a pretty good ranking! I would definitely put Littlefinger in S tier though, and maybe Varys as well. I'd bump Bronn to A tier too, I think he's excellent, both for his banter, and for his actions as well. I wouldn't put Sansa in A though, she isn't doing nearly enough to justify that imho, it's mostly other people doing things to her, she's just there to take it.

1) Brienne is part of many great duos. Jaime is just the first, in S4 another one will start. 2) at the end of S2 i was waiting for more scene with white walkers and i was disappointed that S3 didn't have much of it.3) in S1-2-3 ep9 was the most intense as you said but in S4-5-6 i think ep10 will be the real ending even if also in ep9 you can expect action. We can say it's like part 1 and 2 of the finale. This one of the reasons S4-5-6 are the best for me. i agree with you that 3>2>1 at this point but the show will just be better and better. many thinks that S4 is the best overall. i liked 4-5-6 and also 7 a lot, but yes...for reactions i think 4 and 6 and the best (with 5 matching S3) And for the ranking. i bet that at least 3 character that now are in tier C will be put in tier A soon.

He has run the kingdoms most of his adult life, and now that Joffrey is King, he could easily establish a dynasty. I can't imagine him launching a Baratheon Dynasty. But, you know, whatever. 5. Hey, you figured out that Rat Cook reference to the Frey's. Lots of people miss it. 6. Yes. Theon had a massive tool that he no longer has. Which is probably for the best since he was looking a bit rape-y with Osha and Ros, the captain's daughter, and then his own sister. Little bit like Poseidian, I mean the Grey King.

I think Tywin would be considered a villain due to the tactics he uses to win. Our “heroes” wouldn’t violate guest right and slaughter people at a wedding to win the war. He lacks honour when push comes to shove, but it makes him interesting and often unpredictable.

Looking back today I don't particularly like the ending scene with Daenerys as it feels a bit cheesy but I remember feeling relieved there was at least some hopefulness after they butchered the Starks in the previous episode. I also still don't understand why Stannis thinks dragons are magic. They are magical and associated with the supernatural but it's not like if they have science in this world (except for the Maesters and Qyburn). Dragons could just be naturally occurring animals like Giants, Mammoths and Direwolves who despite being huge are not magical. There are also legends that the White Walkers mounted Giant Spiders during their last invasion of Westeros which implies their world is still it it's megafauna period, where animals grow to huge sizes. We had something similar here on Earth during the age of the Dinossaurs, except for the dragons and giants.

Writing messed up here in this episode. Why would Ygritte be able to travel alone to find Jon Snow, after she betrayed all the Wildlings? Highly unlikely scenario, as she was partially responsible for getting some Wildlings killed. The remaining Wildlings should not have let her out of their sight. This episode also reveals that Sam was the first to kill a White Walker in thousands of years, using the Dragonglass. Which means in season 2 episode 10, where Sam discovered the Dragonglass, he & his mates did not use the Dragonglass in season 3 episode 1, which begs to ask on what happened to the Whitewalker on the horse at the end of season 2 episode 10? The Whitewalker cut tail and ran? Highly unlikely scenario, as the Night's Watch should of all been killed by the Whitewalker on the dead Horse. SMH, plenty of errors in the first half of the show's episodes, just the book readers concentrated on their criticisms after the end of season 5, when there were no more books to go off of.

The only reason that Tyrion turned out to be a decent person is because Tywin likely had little to nothing to do with him while he was growing up, unlike Jamie.
