I love that moment that Jon Snow sees the Calvary charging at him and for that moment he accepted the possibility that he is going to die. Better yet, is the moment he takes off is belt because in his mind he was not going to live to sheath his sword again. Hey alexilaiho1st go fuck yourself. They’re relating this scene to their lives about a moment when you’re faced with trouble (aka life) and instead of being defeated by it you’re ready to face it head on. If you can’t understand and relate a comment about an awesome tv show to someone actually wanting to swing a sword around then you need to go back to elementary school and learn about metaphors. @@tarneakamalone500 you are an idiot. Bolton baited Jon's brother, And he died anyway, drawing Jon (the captain who is in command) away from his men. He then charges without them in anger, leaving the entire cavalry in disarray, so they rush to aid him, ruining their formation. Bolton then cuts them down with arrows and a returning larger bulk. Jon would have lost the battle without Sansa, which further shows his tactics before the battle were stupid and led his men astray.

@@peaceunion5316 He used "rickon" as bait because he knows what kind of people the Starks are you turd. Family above all. You think Jon is not gonna go after his little brother ?? Your a spastic. Even his officers knew it had to be done hence they said nothing when he rode off and only once rickon was dead were they contemplating his actions. Wow he got angry and made a decision based on that what an idiot aye ? Cos it's not like 99% of the other game of thrones characters haven't done that hey ? Him charging off left nothing in disarray the Calvary was on standby and Davos ready to lead. Davos orderd the men to follow Jon. The rest is obvious. You just stating literally what happened in the show does nothing to outline or prove Jon's stupidity. Jon only won the battle of the bastards because of Caitlyn stark and everyone who kept that worthless loser sansa alive.

you think Jon realized at that moment that the entire Stark hous/line/name was basicly on his shoulders? that if he died, his families house would pretty much die with him. he was pretty much the last bastion of house stark. still kind of is. and yes I know there are other starks, but sansa and aria are women. they would lose the stark name apon marriage. Bran is parylized frome the waist down, so I'm pretty sure he can no longer have kids, and rikkon just died. it's not that big a stretch however for Jon to obtain the Stark name. especially since he became king of the north afterwards.

Brandon Zinn well after he told theon ned will always be a part of him, and he will always be a Stark and a greyjoy, my point still stands. Also, Jon didn't know any of that in this moment. (And as of now still doesn't). Just like Jon told theon, ned was more of a father to him than his real father ever was. That applies to himself as well. Even when he finds out, Jon will always see his Stark half as his true self.
@SolidShepard7 жыл бұрын
Brandon Zinn also Jon might decide to keep it to himself and not let it become public considering it might cause a rift between him and Danny, and cause friction with the northern Lord's. And the fact he'd rather stay home in the north and has no interest in the iron throne. He'd rather that be Danny. At the very least until after the white walkers are dealt with.

One can understand him trying to save his brother, but the one-man-charge was nonsense. This scene shows that John Snow clearly lacks the discipline to be a king. He could easily get all his men killed for his own obsession. 1. His charge would have caused his death, which would be devastating for his men. 2. His charge made his men conduct a full charge to protect him, which was clearly tactically a suicide and killed a lot of loyal men in his army.

It absolutely disgusts me that the writers of this show put in not one line showing these characters have any care or regard for the horses they slaughter. The characters in the books care about their horses. It is disgraceful that this show repeatedly adores these scenes in which countless animals are murdered and never offsets them with any decency or even a second of concern shown by the characters for the horses that die for them.

That's is because you taking this out of the context, and watching this with simplified look. First, imagine your kid brother running for his life being shot with arrows by this fucking maniac. Second, take in account what happened to the Jon up to this point, take in account his emotional state. He lost so much, he lost Ned, Robb, and for all he knows even Bran and Arya, he lost Ygritte and so many of his brothers from the Night Watch. In the end he was betrayed and killed by his own men, and then brought back from the dead and immediately thrown in to another war. Imagine that, being killed and and then brought back, it have to leave mark on a person. So being stupid is oversimplified BS, he just wanted to save Rickon at any cost.

In this scene he was still battling his death and his coming back from it, he was still broken and the sight of Rickon running for his life was to much, he goota try to save him, even if it means his life. That is Jon Snow.
