Did you ever end up painting any more C:DMD? You gave us some great pointers in this video, and even to see some of your other painted C:DMD figures in a montage along with a voice over discussing the paints and techniques used would be cool. Thanks for this video, I saved it for when I paint this figure!

Great video. As a beginner, it helped me a lot painting. You only need one layer of base coat to get a good result with a grey undercoat. I need 2-3 layers of base coat on black undercoat. Do you think it's normal or am i missing something ?

It very much depends on the paint. Some are more transparent than others. Try a grey primer and see if that works better for you. I also don’t always do a super opaque base coat because other layers will build the colour up. :)

awesome! I have painted a miniature for a dnd game before but not yet for Cthulhu. It took me soo much longer than an hour though :)

hi. was intresting watching you. a lil tip for shadowing skin... if you thin down to 50/50 contrast guilliman flesh and paint it on the skin for hand and face it give a nice and smooth shadow to nose and lips and fingers... just a tip for the next model maybe. good job. how i said intresting watching you too. have a nice day and keep on the good stuff. bye
