Hi! Maybe you can help me. What happens when you draw two new heroes to the city, you draw and Item Card, BUT what do you do if this Item Card treasure dont match with any of the treasure types of these heroes? Thanks!

If no player has Treasure of that Hero's type, or if any players are tied, the Hero stays in town until the next turn.

Thanks for the great review. Now that Implements of Destruction has more alien treasure cards and item cards that match alien treasure heroes, do you use the Implements of Destruction with BM2 and Crash Landing game? Also, is Implements of Destruction meant to be played with the original Tools of Hero Kind or is it meant to be separate to it?

Great questions. Crash Landing is really only useful when you have the right amount of players. I say if you don't have that many players - DON'T add it in. The alien weapons get lost. I combined Destruction and Tools together and it works perfectly

magicorthodoxy awesome. I've ordered the collectors box and the Implements of Destruction expansion. I think I'll follow your advice on packing the box with the other smaller expansion boxes etc. I wonder why they made it so big? I mean I have all of the expansions (apart from paper and pixels) and I don't think even if these were all sleaved that they would take the box up. Makes me wonder whether they are anticipating to release more expansions hence making it much larger?

I have everything that has come out, as well as one promo spell card. That collector box may be too big for the cards when you don't sleeve them. I have sleeved all of my cards in UltraPro Premiums and have layed some tokens and dice in the box as well. I actually don't have room for much more left. A small expansion can still fit, but a potential Boss Monster 3 standalone set won't fit anymore. But I don't mind buying a second collector box. When Crash Landing came out, I thought they made a mistake with that new treasure type. It's like your trying to bring in purple as the sixth color in Magic: The Gathering after all these years. You can't compare those two games, of course, but as you said, the new treasure will be lost in the deck if you use too many cards in the game. I think they should have made Crash Landing a much bigger expansion with a lot more cards, with a lot more of this new treasure type exclusively to fit it in the whole franchise. I always think that a game is really expanded if you can get in as much as possible, and that just won't work here, unfortunately. I have a slightly different version of that play mat you showed, but yes, you're right. 2 player mats are not very practical. The best way is to sell single player mats, as well as an expanded supply area mat with slots for Heroes, Epic Heroes, Items, Rooms, Spells, 2 discard slots for Rooms and spells, a big area to lay Heroes/Epic Heroes, potentially together with their items in their Town area, and an area for Items that aren't attached to a Hero. Two separate wound and soul slots on the player mats can be practical too.

I freaking love this game! I really like your idea to only add crash landing to Boss Monster 2! Would you add Rise of the Mini Bosses to one or the other? Or Both? I know it's not released yet... I'm just excited to get into this game more lol
