Cyberpunk was born with the release of the movie Blade Runner, but the theatrical release of that movie was garbage. I think we should treat Cyberpunk 2077 similar to it and wait until the version they were supposed to make is actually ready before playing it. Or not. The game was designed for a Street Kid playthrough, you can tell. The game is about hating corpos, and no one brings it up when you are one... same with nomads.

I feel like the game was designed for corpo play through. No one hates big corps more than someone who worked for one and lost that juice. Plus some dialogue options actually helped me since i could finesse or see the finesse when I was getting played by the few corpos we talked too

"why would an A.I. controlled taxi have a steering wheel?" It's explained in the Delamain story line that he was originally operated by humans and then the factory and cars got automated afterward. And regardless of such explanation why wouldn't they? Some of them break down so you'd need a human to override it lol.

I mean true but Assassin's creed Valhalla had a great first day launch, only ran into 4 bugs in the first 20 hours. It's the only game that hasn't burned me for pre-ordering. Sure it was a gamble. Was worth it tho.

@@driathunderwolf677 and i feel the same about Cyberpunk, but somehow it's so damn unbelievable that I had a good time with this game on day one on ps4. Sure there were performance issues, but I didn't ran into major game breaking bugs, and that's what matters to me. Valhalla on the other hand, I loved it and I still will play more, but I had far worse experience there than cyberpunk because game save corrupting and bug where I can't talk to sigaurd so I had to replay entire first half. So see not everyone have the same experience, whatever game it is.

Extra sin: Exactly how the chip works seems to vary between the game and endings. In the game you've got Johnny's chip overwriting you, and apparently this is exactly what it's supposed to do. In one of the endings, you need someone physically compatible with you or it won't work. Either they pulled that out of their rears or V just happened by sheer massive coincidence to be compatible with Johnny even though the two are never even hinted to be related. For Dex, you can find hints that he's actually far less influential now than he pretends. So the Arasaka job was probably him really gambling on doing well, and these two were the best he could get. Netwatch didn't encourage Evelyn to steal the chip. Evelyn was hired by the Voodoo Boys, and got in touch with Netwatch herself. The band was singing without Johnny, probably because he clearly was not okay. Having good anti-aging technology doesn't protect you from a bullet or enraged son. Besides, for all we know Saburo's only got a decade left before the technology just can't keep him alive anymore. Yorinobu might have realized Takemura was really after vengeance for Saburo, or Yorinobu might have decided Takemura was too big a threat to let live after he found V. When you're looking at Evelyn's memories Judy uses translation software to understand what the Voodoo Boys were saying. No reason Evelyn can't. It's made clear Placide had no idea what was up with the chip, and at the time the higher-ups were all dealing with Netwatch. If I stabbed a man in the back with two long blades, I'd assume he was dead and no need for any more stabbing. Besides, they had to get Alt out of there fast. The Voodoo Boys are master hackers capable of making Netwatch take notice. Not that surprising that they could find information about AI like Alt and Johnny if they looked hard enough. There's something of a difference between Arasaka ending and others. So minus ten, plus one.

played the game on base PS4 for 200 hours, got a waitress, a employee in one of the clothing store, with the same voice actor of Panam. The Guitar store in one of the endings the female employee is the same voice actor of Judy~ Just to point things out~ still enjoying the game (and 40+ crashes still counting)

According to a possible dev, Keanu was an executive decisions. the writers and devs had a different voice actor in mind to play Johnny. So all the keanu movie references could have just been something that was created or at least in the works before they changed directions with Johnny.

Jackie's death also would've had more weight if you could spend time with him and anyone else that you might call a friend. And apparently Jackie and V were besties for like 2 years. There's not even an option to take the bullet for him or something or telling him to take some body armor just in case. Like this isn't that bad movie The Adventures of Pluto Nash. But at least in there they have bulletproof vests that were like thin layered undershirts. I would definitely assume in this crazy futuristic cyberpunk world that they would have something similar. Same for the Deus Ex games which is basically Cyberpunk minus the weird car chases and Japanese companies owning like 15% of the US. And now because of the crazy high drinks that happened in Night City, which is supposed to be like a megalopolis version of LA. I want to see what Cyberpunk Atlanta looks like. On some GTA kind of stuff, like how crazy is it over there, or is that still “American” territory? Not too Corpo or anything yet? Lol. And I know I'll be giving them crap for almost the last two and a half years. Because a lot of work went into this game, and the patches I probably made it a lot better. But there's still a lot of plot holes and general world building issues that probably won't be addressed unless the game gets remade in like another 10 years. And I don't know if I want to bother playing Cyberpunk 2077 Redux in like 2040 to 2042. Especially when this game took so long to come out. Because of this, CD Projekt Red's reputation tanked and that might make it hard for them to even put out a new Witcher game.

The web is still one web, without being actually partitioned in "old" and "new" by a wall that "physically" seperates the two parts. The Black Wall stands symbolic for countless Netwatch AIs which where designed to keep the rogue AIs in check. Like with water, after the well got poisoned - there's poison everywhere, but the Netwatch AIs are constantly trying to neutralize it as best they can and make it somewhat drinkable again.

Honestly, I feel bad for CDPR. It's clear that they wanted to fine tune the game and shake out the bugs, but they were under a ton of pressure to just release it already (granted, they shot themselves in the foot by having Keanu announce a date before they realized how much clean up they needed).

He sais "if shit goes south we met at the no-tell motel" and if you look at the taxi display you can see the destination. 12:48 Even though you are travelling to the konpeki plaza its says "no-tell motel". So this shit is spoiling you. They dont bothered to change the text on the display. It even says that the combat mode is enabled. A: Also Jackie took medicine (: right befor you go into the elevator.

I played the PS5 version of this game, and thought it was crap, then I got told to try the PC version... Yeah, a lot of the day one problems from the PS5 version felt like they were patched, or not there to start with, but I still wasn't impressed with the game, for a lot of the reasons given in this video- Many of the mechanics were crap, some story and gameplay elements felt unfinished, it was a bad representation of the era of cyberpunk it was paying tribute to, and it was just so piss easy. People tell me the story's good, but I'll have to KZbin a game movie to see, because if honestly didn't seem like it even had that good a story as far as I got in. But the lack of difficulty was the killing joke for me on this one- If the cops didn't appear out of nowhere to sucker punch you when you got a wanted level, this would have been the easiest game I played in years... And easy games simply aren't fun to me. Like, at all.

Also I am sure Delamain has medical knowledge since we're talking about Night City which has no go areas and combat on a daily basis, so meaning death and injury to the occupant is likely. And since it's an AI it's not exactly limited to physical presence, and so it could give medical advise over the net. For example, Delamain has a "combat mode". Human cab drivers (like Red Cab) are likely armed or at least possess rudimentary medical knowledge too. Also yea the police mechanic sucks, but you know Night City is exceedingly dangerous, kinda like Somalia right now. So at any given shift there is enough psychos killing people that cops probably stopped caring if the victim isn't important. But they should maybe have a mechanic where if you kill enough cops, and your wanted level go up, then MAXTAC shows up, and if that won't stop you Militech shows up with Basilisks and AV to kill you.

the biggest plot hole for yorinobu taking over besides them not investigating the emperor's death. The dude was basically the president of earth and nobody investigated it? But biggest plothole is the technology like braindances etc. All they had to do was bring V in stick the halo on his head and copy his memories of that day and rewatch the footage through his eyes watching yorinobu kill his father. boom whole plot ends there. You'd think hunting down V would be top priority for both sides Yorinobu because hes the witness to the crime, and any arasaka loyalist who dont buy the sons story

You missed the glaring plot error; If Johnny's engram can alter the physiology of V's body. Then V's engram can change the physiology of the body that is now supposed to be Johnny's and before people bleat about it being explained by the drug damage because that lazy excuse won't wash. As were that true then Johnny too would be dead in six months too as it's the same body with the same damage and the same drugs in the system.

I know the game has many part that aren't reaching expectation, but at least you should try more for the first few points Each path you choose comes with a unique quest that has chances to get item (differ by path) Also, for the nomad part, Jackie don't have a way to pass the boarder control and that's where V comes in. The game has a rather fun catch on 60s-90s internet conspiracy and si-fi ideas, I like what they got. I understand it's disappointing for such a long development time, for me too. Expected the bugs and all, but still kinda disappointing.

14:13 he does take one after that scene before he gets in the car. He takes it in one of the elevators you take down later. It doesn't save him though but he does use 1.

Adding a sin here for street kid opening: As a street kid, it's very obvious that V is thoroughly involved in the Heywood area of the city. They practically know Padre personally and they also seem to be a regular at the El Coyote Cojo, knowing Pepe as well at the beginning of the opening. So, how is it that a street kid V doesn't know who Mama Welles and Jackie are? Mama Welles is portrayed as a well-known motherly figure in Heywood with Jackie as her son who was a Valentino at some point during his life, the well-known gang in Heywood. Padre and V talk like they're all buddy-buddy in his car during the intro and if you talk to Padre during the mission Heroes, he explains that he knew Jackie and Mama Welles very well. And, again, it's heavily implied that street kid V is very familiar with the Heywood area of Night City. It just doesn't make any sense that the completely "coincidental" encounter V has with Jackie in the parking garage before being busted by the cops is the first time they ever met each other.

More to point out a cool worldbuildong detail they left out than to nitpick a sin, from what I remember in the original tabletop, the old Net didn't need servers, a major portion of it just kinda...existed independtly. You could go out into the middle of nowhere and find things in the Net left around or rogue AI without a computer or mainframe. It would've been a cool addition to the super natural elements in the game.if they kept that in.

What I don't understand is how we can hack people and things from a distance, when everything runs on a local network ( due to the shit that led to creation of the black wall ) with at least one computer into each room to control each device. Hacking people's brain remotely seems like a huge design flaw, if anyone with little to no experience can do it, you'd think people would be reluctant to have that kind of implant. Also hobos have cyber-implants, which are expensive, despite the fact that only 3% of people can afford health care ( it's stated in a mission from Regina ). And how can brain dances record a view outside of the user's view ? It makes no sense to be able to explore a scene the recorder can't even see. There are just so many things that don't make sense.

Sin #29: Why wouldnt it? Are you saying technology in this world is so flawless that there would never be a need for manual controls incase something breaks? Which it does if you did Delamains sidequest chain. Also you get a drivable version of the car as a reward for the quest anyway. You know that reminds me of? In I, Robot. Will Smith has to take manual control of his automated car when the robots attacked him. Good thing that car still had a steering wheel too, wasn't it?

entertaining, although some sins would make somewhat sense i.e. a steering wheel in a AI taxi is maybe for situations where the AI is fried or something and you need manual input. Or just for comfort. just what threw me off almost more was that in the scene with Vik with V clearly having visuals on Vik , so back of the head on the operation table, yet Vik says he must go through the occipital bone... thing is, it is on the back of the head, so V would have to lie face down for him to get through there... which would mean V couldn't have seen Vik.

Why would a self driving taxicab need a steering wheel? For the same reason 7-Elevens have locks on their doors. Just because the store is open 24/7, doesn’t mean that store will always be open. Same with a self-driving car. What happens when the computer crashes? Wouldn’t it be nice to still have manual controls to get it around when the computer isn’t working?

I hate it when plots have the “ time sensitive main thing” like V has apparently a couple weeks of life left so why would they go out of there way to do fixer jobs or anything that didn’t involve getting the relic out of there head? Realistically doing the main story should be Vs only priority. Same thing happened in W3 Finding ciri is top priority but Geralt can goof off playing gwent all day.

there are not three endings.... because if your jhonny score is high enough, you can sit at the three choices for a few minutes and jhonny will offer you secret choices. namely the one where you show that at this point in the game you are a whirlwind of death, and go in and solo the whole thing as a one man army; meaning all the NPCs stay safe.

So much of this game's features were really underused. Adam Smasher could have played a bigger role in the story. The crafting system is completely ignorable. The flathead could have been used more. And that's not including the literally unfinished world map, and the many cut features like the subway system.

For Nomad V, I got the feeling it'd work, but not for longer than probably getting into the city. I get the feeling it's some weird subconscious representation of us having the conversation, but there's one character I recall V pointing out that he couldn't see his face I foresee the Cyberpunk: Director's Cut being substantially longer, both due to the DLC, but also because they'll likely patch in that whole time jumped section of the game. With food vendors being tagged, I feel like this game should also have a pseudo-survival mode. The reason that mission for Dex was so good is probably because it was the only one with the greatest amount of effort put into it before Keanu arrived on the scene and they had to redo the game. I get that probably nobody wanted to complain and possibly go against Torinobu, but he was a deserter at that point. You'd think somebody would have stopped him from taking over after an obvious murder and plant Hanako as the true successor. I very much hoped Jackie's death was one of those optional moments and was equally disappointed when it was a required part of the game. They could have at least had a fragment of him stay on the chip and give the guy more screen time. Kerry was the lead or backup singer for Samurai, so it's mostly him singing. The Delamain contract should have been cancelled after V dies the first time, but I doubt it's tracking biometrics. Street Cred is metaphorical. I think the limit is mostly, "Ok, this guy isn't a wet behind the ears moron who'll slice himself open when he first uses them." Well, with the creepy kind of fuck Fingers is, they're probably to scare off the women who want actual good mods. Shutting down the old web would be allowing the rogue AIs, Alt included, to fuck with the new web. I assume Hellman was probably in the bowels of an unnamed impenetrable building until he makes the trip with Kung Tao. I said about the same when Panam whipped out the Stinger. I assume Johnny was used because of what he did. If they lose him and the person being tested on, nothing is lost. They were attempting to drill through steel, where as the actual drill was probably only graded for rock. I did the Nomad ending too and I have to agree. I was expecting some way to fuck with Smasher before the endgame. Like affecting some part of his latest firmware/software update, maybe even pick a fight with him to take him out of the final boss fight. We had the same thought about the whole 'you have six months' bullshit. Worst part is, there's something you can get your DNA rewritten or something like it in the tabletop, meaning all V has to do is find that kind of doc and they're in the clear.

Although I agree that Cyberpunk 2077 has A LOT of plotholes and logic failures - about 30 of these sins are either explained in the game or simply non existent, because you obviously didn't listen (scroll through the comments to get a picture). I mean, one can have a field day on Cyberpunk exposing the "game sins" , there is no need to make something up like you did.

11:00 so i guess you never tried to hack other people... once you have them marked you can hack them through walls and in later stages of the game you can detect and mark people through walls with your hacking... hacking is probably the strongest of the play styles, since you can literally take out all the baddies without a shot being fired and sometimes without them realizing that they are being taken out one by one.
