A traditional broom is so far different than a modern broom. One is straw weaved onto a shaft, which can have pieces break off, but is more often the one depicted as used by witches. I think that the knives aren’t each of her kills, I think it’s more likely that she is using fear to control Maddie. That explains why there are so many identical knives (she’d want dozens of cheap knives) and why she specifically wants Maddie to go in there. In fact, the majority of the commercials can be explained by the grandmother using fear to attempt to control Maddie, the pie written on the wall, the not so subtle threats, and even the murders she commits all seem intended to scare Maddie or take control of Maddie’s life. Her accidentally using human bodies in the pie that was intended for Maddie’s friends? A way to get Maddie’s friends to abandon her so Maddie relies on her grandma. Even forcing Maddie to do all the work cleaning up the mansion is treating Maddie more like a servant than as a child. I wouldn’t say she isn’t a murderer who puts bodies in pies, but I think her sole motivation for these murders is to control Maddie’s life

Gosh darn it I finally had to download it and what is horrible is I am absolutely addicted. The story is genuinely compelling immediately, the gameplay is actually everything I want it to be (except somewhat slow on occasion), and the merge results are surprising and make me eager to find out what comes next. yeah actually, "modern brooms" are flat and the bristles arent directly attached to the stick, they can be replaced, old or "traditional brooms" are round, made from hay, usually, and the bristles are attached directly to the handle. think "kitchen broom" and "witches broom" to imagine the differences better.
