"Promote yourself" I'm a writer of sorts. I've been working on an original series in a fantasy setting spanning over multiple generations and phases in my fictional worlds history. I have been working on this since 2009 and have slowly but surely been building my world from the ground up. I have finally gotten my series to an overall level where i feel i am ready to truly write it. Hopefully in the next ten years, some of you will be picking up The Westmam Inheritance off of the shelf and deciding to read it. I love writing and my dream is to reach out and bring people together like my favourite video games, authors and movies do. See you all in the future when I'm published! I have an idea for a game, but I can't quite figure out the lore. You play as a knight who was sent to guard the princess from a demon invasion. The princess, in the last section of the game, will be captured, and so your defensive mission where you just try to keep the demons away from the princess turns into an offensive one where you try to get her back. Any ideas?

“Promote yourself” I’m a high school freshmen who’s passion is Dance and Theater! I dance on my schools drill team and take classes at a studio after school and have done multiple musical productions and have been very involved in singing and acting since I was young! I hope to go somewhere like New York after high school and hope to make it into a good theater company and make connections, maybe even do traveling shows or something like that and/or do background dance/choreography work in movies and television and hope to maybe be on Broadway in some form, weather that’s being a swing actress, understudy, ensemble, anything, I just wanna be a part of it. I don’t plan to go to collage I don’t think, unless I go to a trade school and do a commercial dance program or be a theater major.. school has never been my thing and though I don’t exactly have a laid out plan for what I want to do after high school, I know that I have wanted to be a performer and go into the arts since I was young and I can’t wait to carry out that dream :)

I have the confidence that I can make a living in the arts no matter big or small, sure it’s a hard field but it’s also a small field and a lot of it has to do with connections which I was lucky enough to learn a lot about from my previous dance coach of which team I was a leader on. and it’s really refreshing to hear full love and support instead of “is that realistic?” Or “you sure? The arts are a pretty tough field” from family and adults like Theater and training isn’t the only thing I’ve talked to them about since I was little. Ive just always been a performer and it’s where I’m most comfortable and I know a desk job just isn’t for me, thank you for the comment it truly made my day! Keep spreading love babe!

@@toni4157 yeah you can, but an agent isn't exactly cheap and some are just out to cheat you so you should probably try to snag one or two jobs without one so you can tell if a future agent is trying to trick you. Or at least so you know what to look for in an agent from people who have worked with one before and recommend a good one. Cuz the worst thing you can do for your career is to get a bad agent.

Gaming has gotten me through this pandemic. When I was alone stuck in quarantine playing games with friends it what made me feel connected to those around me. I know a bunch of people who have maybe 200 unplayed, purchased games in Steam. If each game is an average of 20 hours of play time from start to finish, that's 1 1/2 years of doing literally nothing else but playing video games. Those are the games that were paid for and doesn't count the numerous freebies that pop up all over the place like Among Us. And also doesn't count revisits to great games to play them again a second or third time or time sunk going for some difficult achievement. All told, many people have significant video game backlogs that could take a decade to get through. Among Us is more akin to a Flash game than an actual video game. The average EA/Ubisoft dev could probably crank out an Among Us clone in a weekend. It's kind of beneath them. Actually, making an Among Us clone might be a good test of someone's software development skills to see if they are ready for actual game development.

From personal game concepts, to fantasy novels, I make a lot of personal stuff, but never got around to fully committing to an idea. I guess because of the smaller details; writing the lore and major events of a world is one thing, but individual, realistic dialogue and flavor text can be a pain on my head. API into gmail events/calendars and even location data to see scheduled events and suggest blocks then add it into their schedule and use location stuff to set places IRL if needed/wanted and layer in IFTTT so it can negotiate between the group on options found through common analytics based off places they've visited and the meta data gleaned off basic searches. and use push notifications to pop it up and keep it going for the back and forth or a voting system after a top X is found that is a % match on say 60% of the group or more

@@copiumkiller theres bound to be a % of those that could benefit from it which makes it a worthwhile cause and it could benefit more from those in the Psych and neuro fields because they would likely know more of what sectors of the brain need to be engaged constantly to help rewire so to speak to offset some of what depression wires into you. I myself am Parasuicidal so its weird to try and look at it from other perspectives.

@@smilesaredaggers3088 What I have understood is that many mental health problems come from upwards comparison, how we handle problems, "Game over" in real life and how much we reach out to other people. Could you share with additional factors? Maybe even test my game to see how effective are positive triggers? For now my main approach is to close gap how people perceive "Game over" in real life (because usually they have no problem to move on from it in games). Also I am using "helping to others" effect. Games as "Depression quest" IMO is great example.

I graduated in the summer 2019. Our group, Biofire Games LLC, stuck together after Fullsail University. The large companies have been so hard to get an email back on our applications. We decided to keep making games and now we have 2 games released. No success, but we're working on our third one in one year while we are still working full time. So this video is very true on the developer side. I love video games and this channel is one my inspirations to get into design. Shameless self promotion it is then :D We've done exactly that, assembled a team of 8 people and used the spare time during lock down and quarantine to make our first huge step as indie game developers. We've ran a successful kickstarter in november, and you can now wishlist "Derelict Void" on steam, which will release on the 18th of march

"Promote yourself" ive been intersted in music for a long time now (mainly rock and hip hop amongst others) but i just cant do beats and ive just realized since covid that i can use my talent and something i love to do, to make a living. Im a freshman in high school and just starting to learn how to make music. Buuuuuut like i said i have no clue how to do beats and im not entirely sure how to get started on writing songs. If anyone can help me with this that would be amazing. I have the paper i just need the pen.

I have a technique that can make you be a lyrical genius. When there is lyrics, there are words. Every word has syllables and that is the most important thing to remember. Mostly people use words that contain one syllable of every melody of the song but it doesn't mean that the whole song will have to be one syllables of every melody, others would use a word that has 3 syllables that can work on 3 melodies. It is very hard to explain it here so i just hope you understand why i mean.
