They could have shown Wonderwoman to be like an athletic rogue that dashes and jumps buildings. She could have used her braces that are literally made to deflect everything including Supe's heat vision. But in actually combat, that genuinely only goes so far. For example, Mayweather is arguably the best boxer ever, Deontey Wilder is no where near that level of skill. But, Mayweather fights at 145 or so and Wilder fights at 200 and above. If they fought in a ring, Mayweather would do well for a lil bit, but eventually. He's gonna get his head knocked of by the bigger, heavier, stronger fighter. Basically, the the base difference in the 2 fighters will out weigh Mayweather's skill advantage. The same could be said here. Superman when he's genuinely not holding back is considerably stronger and faster then WonderWoman, to the point that her skill advantage would be out weighed. She typically wins fights against Superman because of plot, Superman holds back way more then her and she's arguably the most coddled member of the Justice League. Plot also is why Harley Quinn could speed blitz WonderWoman, take her lasso off her hip, flip over her head and wrap it around Batman's neck all before WonderWoman lifted a finger. It's also why Catwoman, despite being exhausted and extremely damaged and stating she's never held a sword before in her life. Was able to beat Talia Al Ghul in a sword fight at 100%. A better gage for me anyway is the difference between when Superman fights Doomsday and when WonderWoman does. Or when Superman fights Darkseid and when WonderWoman does. These are fights that Superman is arguably the closest to not holding back then we typically see him, same for WonderWoman. Last time Superman fought Doomsday that I remember. WonderWoman tried to help, and they made it very clear that she couldn't fight at that lvl. Every time she attacked Doomsday she got knocked away and was constantly left behind while Superman and Doomsday fought. Until she eventually stopped helping. She's not in Superman's lvl, not really. Her appearing to be there is a plot device, much like Batman beating the either Justice League when they're trying to kill him multiple times.

Honestly a lot of these modern writers are not fans of the comics and most likely don't even do their due diligence to research comic book stories so I'm not surprised that they overlooked that aspect of his character. Also remember that a lot of the staff that worked on the Arkham games (who were true fans of the comic stories) are no longer at the studio including the two founders Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker, they left most likely because of creative differences from WB, the writers of this game are from a company called Sweet Baby Inc. which have done a lot of controversial writing for other games in recent years trying to inject modern political agendas to score ESG points with these studios. @Lee-km7qq

At least Wonder Woman died like a hero? I mean, she loses and gets horribly burned by upgraded heat vision, but she wasn't demeaned, and is honoured. Green Lantern's death has his uniform vanish because it was a ring construct, so he is left in his GL boxers, like a drunk in a teen comedy. Flash almost gets pissed on by Boomerang, which doesn't happen, but his death is supplanted by focusing on the reveal of Boomer having a big dick. Batman gets beaten bloody by the Squad, then Harley Quinn carries him like he carried her in Arkham Knight to "get back" at him; then Lex-2 does torturous experiments on him; then he is dumped on a park bench, and finally shot in the face by Harley. Superman's death is probably the least offensive, though he doesn't get any lines until the boss fight, and after he is killed, the Squad mock him, then cheer like they won a sporting event, and try to high 5 until Brainiac captures them.

This game ignores canon in the dumbest ways possible. Kryptonite alone might not kill Supes, but it should've absolutelly depowered him. Wonder Woman's bracelets could have absolutelly tanked the strongest version of Superman's heat ray and literally deflected it back. In fact, if her bracelets broke, she would've had her true power unleashed and would've been able to stand against wounded superman, which should've honestly have been the Superman boss fight. Wonder Woman at peak and the squad versus depowered Superman. Batman absolutelly has contingency plans for himself if he was ever mindcontrolled. Flash can vibrate himself out of reallity and has actually faced and defeated Braniac and Luthor by himself. Green lantern should've lost his ring the moment he was taken over and the entire Green Lantern Core should've arrived to Earth to help out. There's no Captain Marvel or Martian Manhunter or Hawk girl or Captain Atom or Green Arrow or Teen Titans or Dr. Fate or Zatanna or Black Adam, etc. Literally, where the fuck is everyone? This game and its story is so ass I'm genuiney in disbelief. So much lore and story potential and they just ignore it all. What the actual fuck was the point of this in the first place?

What the f- are ya gonna do if superman survives, and focuses on you? Nothing, literally nothing. They could've at least have a back and force situation where Waller, Harley & Boomer are trying to run in, while Shark, WW & Deadshot hold Superman back. Have a boss fight where Task Force X help weaken Superman enough for Wonder Woman to kill him. Literally anything than just watching a poorly written movie.

@nimawhe - One of the DCU's BEST melee fighters is Wonder Woman. They gave the impression that this bout was a pitiful Slugfest. She always dons her Amazonian Battle Armor in circumstances like this. Everything about it, including the sword (also known as the God Killer) and shield, are made by the Gods themselves. Her weapons and abilities are magical and godly. So, KRYPTONITE IS NOT NEEDED. Wonder Woman's Sword can cut through Superman like soft butter. She should've use that in addition to the Kryptonite, which would've surely ENDED HIM.

It’s still dumb how WE kryptonite shield is not weakening Superman at all. If I remember correctly kryptonite should sap Superman strength from being to close. But in this game it doesn’t do anything but weaken his skin I guess so u can stab him. This game retcon Superman’s weakness. And no to people if they say brainiac mind control nulls its effect. If that was the case how come the gold kryptonite works on Superman wouldn’t gold kryptonite be nullified to? In almost every show or game or movie the kryptonite literally puts Superman on his ass. This comment is just wrong. The reason the kryptonite wasn’t as effective was because brainiacs corruption changed Superman’s DNA. Your counterpoint to that plot point was saying that if that was true, gold kryptonite wouldn’t work either. However, in this game gold kryptonite was created by Lex Luthor. It’s entire purpose was to affect Superman’s new DNA. The ENTIRE reason the squad went after batman was to get a live subject so Luthor could Identify changes to DNA from brainiacs corruption. Just don’t talk about things you don’t know about.
