A very difficult thing I find with this game is not just the difficulty in the kanji used itself, but also the weird font that they use for it. Fonts really are my biggest weakness at the moment, I need to work on it

Technically speaking the reason why it doesn't let you replay voice clips from cutscenes is because the cutscenes' audio is tied to the video. They're one long pre-rendered video scene with matching audio, making it so that it's not exactly feasible to simply replay a voice clip like the in game dialogue is (since those are literally just easily accessible audio files).

While you learn Japanese with Metaphor Refantazio, I, who is Japanese, am learning English by watching this game's English cutscenes on KZbin😂. I really love Louise's voice acting because his accent and his way of speaking are so cool and sexy😍.

Hi Game Gengo. I just want to say thank you. Ive been studying Japanese for 6-8 months. Its been hard for me, and gaming has been hard too, it has been scary for me. With your help, i decided on a game to start with, mario odyssey and I will be starting it tomorrow. Thank you for all your help and i will definitely be watching your videos from now on.

Nice variety this month, going from the easier Shin-Chan to something more challenging! It’s nice to see some wacky advanced sentences and to know we all struggle equally sometimes.

この瞬間を待ていた! I tried playing the demo in Japanese after having played through all of Episode Aigis that way last month. I only got about an hour and a half in before i decided to switch to English text 😂. It filtered me HARD. Still, I've been looking forward to this game for so long, I just can't wait to enjoy it! (And pick up some listening practice while I'm at it.) So glad you're covering this one, Matt. :D 🎉

My biggest problem with this game is the freaking font. Impossible for game2text to accurately catch, so you can play at a reasonable pace. Having to use your phone or something and phisicaly type every word you don't know makes it a slog.

Matt, it is no coincidence that it resembles Persona 5. After having done Persona 3-5*, this team wanted to do something else and this is that game. * Persona 3 started production in 2003 and Persona 5 was released in 2016. That's 13 years (16 if they where involved with P5 Royal (2019)). No wonder they where eager to do something else. I really hope that Persona 6 will be good. But with a new team, we have no idea of how it will turn out. If you are in to it. Then id be happy to see a second part to this video.

I was thinking to use it for sentence mining, but the style the text is written, is hard for text recognition software to analyse 😑 Edit: I´ve testet the Kamui OCR with the PS 5 version using Remote Play and I´m really surprised how accurate it is.

I don't know if it's just a glitch on my side, but the video chapters are showing up as the Crayon Shin Chan ones, which is very funny given how different this game's tone is from that one XD
