@@mantb207 If you use dark devotion on the doctor it'll move his terror radius to a survivor, that bit you know already. But I'm pretty sure if you use his static blast, because its the range of the terror radius, it'll be that many meters around the survivor with your terror radius.

If you use the standard 1 foot measurements than only people who are American or use the imperial measurements, but everyone who plays dbd, so that includes people from other countries who also watch rowby, including me and whilst I know feet, I’m English so we use the metric system. But back on topic, only a portion of rowbys viewers know what 1 foot/6 feet would be referring to, but if you say ‘3 Adam Francis’ for 18 feet then people would be able to understand better who play the game, as I’m guessing 90%+ of his viewers play the game. You would also use fractions as like ‘1/6 of an Adam Francis’, and people who don’t use imperial would be able to understand. I hope this clears it up for you.

You always see the Doctor Hallucinations as Doctor, but they only last barely a second. Restraint leaves them around for an additional like 8 seconds. This is a great finding tool, and just gives you more info. The red glow one is super helpful on maps like Yamaoka's or The Farm, since now they can't possible hide from you because they are glowing.

No that's only at tier 3 and they last for a few seconds. With restraint you see them at rank 2 and 3 and for way longer. Being able to see a survivors aura for a few seconds when they increase madness is actually fairly useful because when you use your static blast you can see where they go and cut them off, also useful in chases for when they go behind obstacles. restraint combined with a range increaser is probably your best bet

The Doctor's original design had one interesting mechanic. You couldn't attack in Treatment mode but you could grab! I caught a survivor trying to jump in the hatch once! He was pissed! LoL 😉👍

I play strictly the killer and the Doctor is by far my favorite so far (I'm still learning Mikey M. and the Nurse...and pretty much everyone else other than Pyramid and Bubba) As Doctor, I use: Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Over Charge and BBQ/Chili (Hex: Ruin rather than BBQ would be optimal but I don't have it yet). Add ons: Calm and Discipline (any level). Offering: Any map that is indoors or anything that gives a bonus to Deviousness Blood Pts (then just shock the hell out of everyone every chance you get to rack up the BP...survivors who butt dance by pallets are especially vulnerable to this). This build basically lets you take the generators hostage (huge terror radius, hard skill checks, etc. so finishing the gens is a chore for survivors) and REALLY slows down the game. On the right map, I can kill everyone between when the 2nd gen is done and when the gates open. Watching the entire survivor team fall apart and loose with all gens completed makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, especially when they have flashlights (F those things). BUT this build doesn't work so well on open maps so beware...the McMullin Estate and Ormond are the worst for this build. The Meat Packing Plant or the Hospital are great. One other major thing for this build is to try and herd survivors away from a cluster of 3 gens and make sure these 3 are the last 3 gens on the map. This way, if you just patrol the final 3 gens, the survivors are almost always in your radius, making Static Pulse super effective and further increasing the hard skill checks. Also, utilize the basement hooks when ever possible.

The fun part of the shock is when you come across the occasional player that doesn't QUITE know how the Doctor works and just sits at a vault point or pallet after you shock them. You can practically hear their furious clicking and going crazy wondering why they aren't doing the thing.

Good video. I do wanna mention tho that oblivious doesn't actually cuck your static blast, rather it shocks them and then immediately cancels the oblivious status effect. (I tested this with a friend in kyf to confirm this, becuz the wiki details this effect too)

The static blast is actually really good for getting info before a chase because it lets you know who is where. What side of the map you can funnel them into and inflicts madness on them. So for my playstyle monitor and abuse is actually his worst starting perk. And with lulliby you have to kind of guard it til you can get a few stacks on it because it affects the madness skill checks causing people to scream more often when they try and snap out of it. Personally I had someone screaming for 30 seconds with it. Which I found incredibly hilarious. The call king doesn't give random. It gives ALL of the other afflictions. Which is just gross. Distressing is really nice because bigger blasts. And with purple and yellow calm add ons with distressing. I have actually completely covered Midwich elementary I believe. The map that came with Pyramid head. But I get that this video is probably more for the comedy rather than an actual guide.

As someone who "mains" doctor, id recommend using an electrodes and green dicipline, since it makes hitting shocks very easy, thus making chases shorter.

Just realised the Doctor is an alternate version of my Killer "The Gravedigger" He just digs his spade into the ground, trapping survivors in place and revealing their aura for as long as the ability is active. The Gravedigger cannot move while using this ability and nor can survivors. His perks however are pretty okay. Blood in the Mud- Injured Survivors that are not in a chase suffer from the Hindered Status Effect Unholy Blessing- You are obsessed with a survivor, when the obsession is saved from a hook, the next time the obsession suffers a status effect, the survivor who Rescued them from the hook will too. Death Laid Bare- Hex Perk, When a survivor is sacrificed or killed, all healthy survivors become injured, occurs once per trial.

That last perk is WAYYY too op like it has more snowballing potential than a nurse with a red mori in endgame with noed and remember me. The unholy blessing could be named something like "death and taxes" "There are 2 innevitable in this world: death and taxes. You are obsessed with a survivor, when a survivor unhooks your obsession, this perk activates for 20/30/45 seconds. While this perk is active, downing your obsessions rescuer will reveal your obsessions aura for 6/8/10 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 300/260/230 seconds after it ends." What you think? This perk encourages killers to focus the rescuer so they can still target the obsession but give them room to breathe

Doctor used to be balanced ish (without good add-ons for range he would be weak). The only thing that was a necessary tweak was him switching between treatment mode and punishment. But no let's add that and let him shock one side of the entire map plus if your 3 gened as survivor your even more fucked than before

A while back I dusted off Doc and decided to do a challenge where I needed survivors to scream 60 times. I decided I would do NOTHING but zap people to make them scream. Which I did... 20 minutes later... I'm laughing my head off as I chase and zap people again and again. Blasting the area every minute and firing off at any survivor I see. By the time they got out I had gotten 57 screams. Think about that. 57 screams in 1 round. I needed just 3 more, so I decided to do it again... 15 minutes later. One of the survivors had bled out from me downing him so many times since he kept running across my path even when I tried avoiding him. Lol. The other 3 were at level 3 shocked and they had 4 gens to go. It got to where they crouch walked up to me as if BEGGING ME to either kill them or let them do gens. I had a good laugh and let them do the gens... After a few more zaps now and then just to keep them on their toes.

I don't bloat the Doctor's TR and run Whispers. Whispers goes on, someone is within the TR, Blast and find them easy. I got really lucky when I did my Adept Doctor, I had a low Tier Monitor & Abuse because I always try for my Adepts as soon as I unlock the third Perk slot. I later found out that the T3 of M&A, with the constant gaining and dropping of _ten whole degrees_ of FOV, gives me really bad motion sickness, something I had never experienced before and something I never want to experience again. I wish I could drop it down to a lower tier level now because I really do want to run No TR Slinger but he's P3 now so I'll never be able to run it on him.

I hate how there’s no chance of winning against even just a medium doc -Gives away your location every 15s -cannot get out of madness 3 unless you remain completely still AND succeed skill checks -You cannot vault or drop pallets when shocked -The doctor doesn’t even need to target to shock you, he has an AoE -The doctor has automatic fake pallets being generated I personally think they should reduce the AoE of the doctor static blast and remove the no vaulting penalty when shocked. He doesn’t need either of those crutch to be a good killer. As for getting out of madness 3 it should be possible to do it whilst on the move. It is nearly impossible to do it unless someone distract the doctor Also, I think screaming your location every 15s when in madness 3 is completely op as you already have hallucinations showing the general area you are in, fake pallets, fake chase music and cannot see the killer blood stain. If you need all of that to kill survivors…maybe you’re not such a good killer after all… Everyone is saying Spirit needs a nerf but no she’s nothing compared to him. Spirit at least doesn’t know where you are at all time and doesn’t need to prevent you from playing the game.

Also, important: Discipline makes that one second delay the shock takes to happen shorter, making it much more responsive. I've seen quite a lot of survivors go for an extra loop just to be *barely* unable to drop the pallet or vault the window.
