I bet you anything if their games didn't have mod support, they wouldn't not last nearly as long as they did. Starfield being a showcase that even with mod support people left in droves. I'm mainly calling out the fact that his take is extremely weird since he says he can't finish it because it feels outdated but he plays all the games from a studio that is always criticized for being a decade at least of out date. It's just hilarious.

From the bottom of my heart Mr Act Man…and with all due respect for your awesome content of course, the main thing I learned from this video is that you either need to slow way down and only play/review games you like and truly experience almost all they have to offer OR you need to double down on being a general reviewer and start playing games at least to main story competition or equivalent …which is nearly impossible with live service. The moments I realized this was when you seemed not fully aware of what all is in the Helldivers 2 Omens of Tyranny update…and yet its your personal GOTY (which i fully agree). As well as seemingly not having time to really finish games or sometimes not play them at all even if its super popular. I feel bad even saying anything because we all know how time is as we age but, Im not really sure what the goal is here anymore brother. Personally Id rather you just focus on games you love and review those and then youd have more time to play games on ur own time to reset! Good luck man 🫡

Just want to point out that I don't believe it would be up to Fromsoftware whether a PC port of bloodborne gets made. It would most likely be more up to Playstation whether they wish for a bloodborne pc release. But then it falls on fromsoftware whether they want to make that for playstation or whether there are contractual obligations to playsation to continue supporting updates, and patches. Ultimately I believe if Playsation wanted a pc release of bloodborne or even a 60 fps patch that they wouldn't need Fromsoftware, they could just tap Bluepoint to immediately start working on it.

as a borderlands fan whats gonna make or break the game at the end of the day is the endgame content. cause with borderlands the real game begins after youve beaten the game. We're talking raid bosses, crazy weapons that are worth farming for and niche builds on every character and they also gotta innovate with some new type of content as well. im kinda bored of enemy wave modes so hopefully they dont just add another colosseum and call it a day. And the story has be decent. im not expecting a great story but it has be better than 3 at least.

Obsidian's 2 games in 2022 were small scale projects with small teams attached: Pentiment and Grounded. They haven't released a big game since Outer Worls in 2019. I don't think that timeline is as impressive as Matty seems to think. It feels normal to me. Especially since both Avowed and Outer Worlds 2 are in production since 2018-2019. That's at least a 6 year dev cycle, which is normal for a big game.

Yea I’m subbed to him and I enjoy hearing his opinions but this collab showed that he plays almost nothing. And most of the games they talked about are small 10-20 hour experiences. Mafia, Outer Worlds, Outer Wilds, Indiana Jones. Borderlands 2 & 3 aren’t huge. They aren’t massive games. Most can be finished in a weekend or two, and that’s for normal people working regular jobs.
