I think it's one of the two reasons that Nintendo didn't push bleeding edge tech in following systems. The other being the N64. I imagine in the board room at Nintendo a big board on the wall, on that is pictures of both the N64 and Virtual boy with stats on how much they lost them and any time someone mentions going for more advanced and powerful hardware, someone points at that board.

@AlucardsQuest4 жыл бұрын
I have a problem when the movement doesn't seem natural. I tried Skyrim in VR, and I had to walk slow. Worse are games that won't let you walk, but you have to "jump" around the playfield, and the screen changes rapidly.
@Sly2Cooper4 жыл бұрын
@@AlucardsQuest I've prepared myself to VR with 3D games on PS3 and 3DS :) Sometimes movement in VR feels much too smooth for a real life making the brain think we ate something poisonous (toxins change our perception) and need to vomit asap. When this happens I shake and nod my head and body a little to create the feel of those natural movement bumps. Try repeating your meditation mantra (if you have one) and slow breathing (4 seconds inhale, 7 seconds hold and 8 seconds exhale). It reduces the adrenaline in the body thus helping with both headche and nausea. To relax stiffen shoulders, neck, jaws and eyes helps a lot too. Some parts of PS VR headset push on my temples causing headache after some time. So I wear my light earphones with small headband under the helmet to prevent this.

not to be that person ,but it's just a matter of recognition and history of the MegaTen franchise as a whole for the gaming community and public ,each series has its own merits,I am a fan of both,persona 5 is my personal favorite of the generation and SMTV my most anticipated game as of now,but the fact that Persona is the most popular and smt is in its shadow it's sadly a matter of fact,so as a fan of both I just wish for more balance in exposure and recognition by the public audience nothing else,but at least by being massively popular persona it's a great introduction to the MegaTen franchise for a lot of said new audience ,so it's role is still pivotal nonetheless

He also said he reviewed the entire library, and it turns out he didn't. He only reviewed the games released in North America, none of the Japan exclusive ones. This video really does have the entire library.

Joe! Great job with the bleedin' eye fx! Independently moving eyeballs are your best entertainment value. And this episode has the best "suspension of suspension of disbelief" skit to date!

At 23:38 - are you playing clips from the movie or a videogame? I can't tell.

I never had headaches with it. I had two games for it. Wario Land and V-Tetris. What I did was lay on my bed in a pitch black room. No problems. I played V-Tetris for 6 hours once.

I got my Virtual Boy brand new for $25 back when Toys R Us was clearing their stock. I have so much fun playing the system and still play it to this day. Wario is by far the best game on the system, it is one of my all-time favorite games.

@@Gatorade69 My brother got the 32x for the same reason, from Toys R Us, too, like you said.

I agree the 32X was much better than the VB... Don't get me wrong it's still a piece of crap, but I'd take it over the VB.

No doubt. But aside from being two unsuccessful systems, it is quite the odd comparison, isnt'it?
@mr.vidjagamez98964 жыл бұрын
No way for me. I love both of those pieces of oddball hardware, but the VB experience with actual hardware is a unique experience that isnt just "better graphics". VB all the way.

I wish you could get these consolized systems ready to go. Some of these games look pretty awesome.

Let us pray. "Game Sack, who art in Denver, hallowed be thy name. Sunday comes, thy reviews be done, on Nintendo, as well as Sega. Give us our games, our 60 frames, and lead us not to CDi, deliver us from Green Dog. For thine is the Snatcher, the Shenmue, and the M.U.S.H.A. forever. Amen." The Lord of the Sword's Prayer
