The remake is making additions and changes to combat, stealth, exploration, puzzles, story, character development, art direction, sound design, pacing, and more. They are like perfection, they know what they are doing with these games, with not adding to much , not taking away to much, not over doing anything, balancing the game perfectly. This is shaping up to be some year for games, DS remake, Hi-Fi Rush, RE4 Remake, Metroid Prime Remaster and although not quite at the same standard I've enjoyed Wo Long too. And we've still got all the big hitters to come, Tears of the Kingdom, Starfield, FF16, Spiderman 2, and then you add Baldurs Gate 3, Armored Core 6, Jedi Survivor, Diablo 4, Silent Hill 2 Remake, Sea of Stars and supposedly Silksong. I am a Resident Evil (game) fan since the beginning. I have not played every RE game, but I can say I have played through RE Directors Cut, RE Zero, Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remakes and I've tried and currently own every other RE game on one platform or another. I own the Resident Evil 4 Remaster on PC, I've tried it out but just couldn't play it. My main gripe is the same as most, the controls are terrible. I couldn't do it, so I never got far. To me, it's unplayable. I loved the RE 2 and 3 Remakes, I've played through both a couple of times each. They are beautiful and fun. Superb additions to the Franchise. I have not gotten around to the RE4 remake until now. I bought a Xbox Series S a few weeks ago and made my first game purchase on the system this past Friday. I made it count. I bought a game I will actually play rather than what I normally do buy a game and never touch it. I finally grabbed this RE4 remake. I have played quite a bit this weekend. I am completely unspoiled, I don't know how this game unfolds. I had no idea what to do entering the village. How do you fight off this entire village, including a chainsaw welding maniac with a chainsaw? I was relived that it's timed. You just need to buy time until the clock strikes whatever. I'm just starting chapter 3 and I can tell this was one of the best choices I could ever have made buying a game. This is. Game I bought and will play to completion, loving every minute of it.

17 years ago, I fell in love with the gaming word when I played the original. Capcom's decision to begin producing remakes is a godsend since it allows all of us to relive our childhood. Re4 remake did it again. I find it really amazing when, while playing THE REMAKE, you already know what will happen in the following scene or section and you still consider how much different it will be this time. For those who are new, It will be a terrifying encounter but for the elderly, it will be like reliving their formative years.

i Remember the first Resident Evil game I ever played was the 5th instalment. At first i popped the game in my xbox360 and quickly got frustrated because of the "slow" mechanics and i quit the game. Came back to it after a few months cause i was on a gaming rampage when i was in high school. i ended up getting all achievements on the game and enjoying every moment of it , played it with 4-5 of my friends in co-op and after i left it i was left craving more but unfortunately Resident Evil 6 never came close to what Resident Evil 5 was. Can't wait for a Resident Evil 6 Remaster hehe . but until then , Resident Evil 4 Remaster looks Crispy AF 🔥❤️🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🚀🚀🚀

Spiderman will be fun but it needs more than the same 4 crimes happening. Batman offered a lot outside of the campaign while for Spiderman there wasn't much outside the campaign. I did love Spiderman and if I ever play Spiderman 2 I will most likely love that as well but if it's the same as the first then it won't be enough to be the best game of the year

@@haunteddreams7856 okay so more diversity in the crimes. I like that addition. But the gameplay is what really makes this game amazing. The combat, the gadgets, boss fights are all great. In my opinion no game is more fun navigating through the map than Spider-Man. I don’t want to fast travel, swinging around the city is always satisfying. Grinding the skill tree & unlocking new moves is always fun, unlocking all the cool costumes is always fun. This game is even better when you play on the highest difficulty. Lol I’d be shock if this game doesn’t win goty

Just beat it then on PC standard difficulty. The game was awesome and surprisingly a bit more difficult than I thought it would be without being overbearingly so. I never played the original because I never owned a game cube or ps2 and it was a pleasure to experience it for the first time in this latest iteration!
