I’m a small time collector and my kids and I might send some of our cards mostly to encapsulate them for the memories. I can’t justify having psa membership and go through all the steps for just a few cards. So for me, this service sounds great and we’re picking out the cards we want to send.

Well, it was never meant to get out. Also, these things should be in there archives, also maybe they had a creative writing time were they bounce ideas, of course, they never put them in. But its all drafts. I mean, its just word salad forcthe writers to get creative, make a very naughty entry, then tone it down. (Gamefreak doesmt need to apologize for crap that was never meant to be seen as it is, it would be worse if they acknowledged it.)

I'm all for grading yourself but your first PSA order will cost you 470 bucks. 40 for shipping, 150 subscription and 20 cars minimum. Gamestop will be good for middle to lower end grading if you don't grade tons of cards a year. Sucks for lgs middle men tho.

Timely timing on multiple fronts. Not 6 hours ago I became a game stop pro or whatever its called and ill tell ya why. I had been thinking about it a while cause if you use them they seem to be offfering some good stuff like the occasional impulse buy at a deal and you get free shipping etc.. What did it for me is I just finished putting together a 190 card psa sub. Sending it off tomorrow. I really want to grade this FS Gengar that I cracked out of a BGS slab. It took well over 2 months for the damn thing to get back to me from BGS so I got tired of waiting and left it out. So as you said I want to grade one card. I have no desire to put another PSA sub together. 15 bucks? OK, that is an amazing option for me in that situation. Not only that, but If it goes well oh man them POPs goin up brother. Many people who never had access or even thought about grading a card are at least gonna give it a chance cause its so cheap and easy to access. Now that I think about it maybe not the Gengar because it is sentimental to me, but you get the idea. Thanks for entertainin as always.

Its gamestop... once this blows up next year you will have to be a pro member and it will be 45 or 50 bucks a a card at 200 value and below and 100 for valuable cards. Calling it now. This is the equivalent to streaming services starting out at 7.99 and "Never having ads" back in the day.

Should be interesting to see how the whole GS/PSA thing works out for early adopters. Seems very high risk to me with no paperwork and just some random employee handling ypur cards. Only time will tell, I suppose. All the Gamefreak stuff was news to me. I've been too busy to look into it when the news dropped but after watching this, I'm glad I didn't.

from what I seen in another video is the employee writes down everything on a tablet for you while your standing there. They then take photos of your submissions. Then everything is placed in your own envelope and sealed

I hope ebgames follows gamestops footsteps, it would make it so much easier for me to get a card graded. Currently the closest middleman is in the city which is a decent drive and with international postage costs its not economical to submit a few cards myself.

Lots of LGS’s middle man now. GameStop now sells slabs and singles. Power up rewards members get big discounts. It’s good for the consumer, bad for LGSs.
