THIS STORY IS A TOTAL LIE!! Anyone who actually graded with Gamestop knows that this is not even possible with the way their process is! If he lost $375k worth of carss he would have had to grade 1875 cards at $200 value per card! The declared value can only be $200! So if he is sending 1st ed Zards at $200 declared value... silly mistake then. #2: YOU CAN ONLY DO 100 CARDS PER ODDER! So he would have had 19 different submissions that just evaporated out of the system?? Hmmmm. Weird. #3: YOU SCAN IN EACH CARD 1 BY 1! You dont just hand them 1000 cards and walk out the door. You go through each card 1 by 1,and have to say yes or no right there on the spot! #4: THEY TAKE PICTURES EVERY 20 CARDS FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES! They get sent to you in the email confirming that you sent them! #5: A REGULAR EMPLOYEE STORE LEVEL IS NOT ABLE TO MAJORLY OVERRIDE THE SYSTEM TO DELETE ORDERS. Cmon, you dont think Gamestop thought of that? STOP THE GAMESTOP HATE! This is a cool program for people that dont want to pay all the crazy fees to be a platinum club member! I myself am a platinum card member and still sent cards with GS because its cheaper if you are doing 20 or less cards! If you watch any GS grading video, you would instantly see all the holes in this story! Why didnt he show a receipt? You have to pay grading fees upfront!

I really like your channel but I feel like this story failed the smell test and has some inaccuracies. 1. What he claimed the value he submitted is impossible. They have a max value they are able to submit per card and it is checked in the system based on the card. In order to submit then thousands of cards to meet this threshold would take multiple days of multiple workers to handle in addition to actually store work. 2. Did he show receipts? You need to pay for submissions at the time of submission. Show the receipts! 3. GameStop has $5billion in the banks which makes it one of the most cash rich companies in the US and won’t go bankrupt anytime soon. Please follow up with the story if it is indeed real or call him out for being a scammer.

I submitted 1 card just to test it out to see how it goes. hopefully they guy gets his stuff back cause that would suck. Come to think of it IF they were to add like say a voided tag that would prevent theft, as long as the owner of the cards signed off verifying that yes its sealed, then PSA can verify received if still intact. extra security there. For incoming, void sticker would work as well so long as picture of owner of cards is taken to verified they received their cards and signature required just like if you got a submission. just a small idea for them to get away from that and theft within the company. far as insurance well psa or gamestop would need to pay out

Gamestop replied to him saying that his cards are not lost but he isn't accepting that as an answer because neither the store or PSA has the cards. Seems like the cards are in transit to PSA and this guy is freaking out over nothing. Also he sent retro Star Wars cards which are only valuable if they are PSA 10s (they are basically worthless raw) so his submission probably isn't worth close to 300k.

It is not worth anywhere close. He posted a video this morning with a case number and a receipt that showed he paid below $200 since the first number was a 1 and he was attempting to scramble the receipt. I believe it was 159.92 which would mean he submitted 10 cards at 15.99 and I pointed that out since he said in another video he submitted 22 cards which would be near $400 dollars. he has now removed the video but if you look up on google Cardboardgems Mason Ray his video shows a link but goes to a dead video now. he would have to Submit all of them as Golden Rod C-3PO Error cards and even then 10 PSA 10s would barely equal over half based on the one i found for $21k. He also commented in another video he was getting 11k in a settlement and may go for more in court. I would be taking them to court with a vengeance if they offered that to me for $375000, looks like he's thinking of gambling to get more. I am hoping my comment messed up and was not removed that i was editing a minute ago because that doesn't look good. I like your videos Rattle but the research on this one was lacking as I made a comment on this guys Tiktok stating facts and he removed it in what i believe is attempt to cover up the receipt now.

Why the heck are you sending that much freaking money worth of cards through gamestop or any mail carrier. If you have that much freaking money go submit in person!
