Aren't you blocking the vents on the side

I don’t think so. It’s made to stand up or lay down flat. There are little rubber things sticking out keeping it from touching flush to the ground. Maybe that’s enough to let air flow from under it when it’s standing up. You make a good point though. There are a lot of vent holes there, but I figure the big blow hole on the side is getting the majority of heat out though.
