@asdrubale bisanzio True I also like to add extra capacitance at the end of SATA andPCI-e gfx power leads anyways so my holdup time is much improved as is the bulk filtering on the rail at the device end of the supply cable. Problems show up with age as electrolytic capacitors dry out and reach EOL, my empirical data shows adding extra capacitance gives longer service life, presumable because high frequency switching noise if shared with my added capacitance and therfore reduced through the original caps - especially in very warm evironments like desert heat or the tropics.

if you are going to use steam big picture mode to run this as an HTPC, I still recommend the app called "Controller COmpanion" I use it on my htpc's, So what it does is, it turns your xbox one controller into a k/b& mouse combo, the left joystick is your mouse, and when you press the joystick in, you get an on-screen keyboard. , you can switch this feature on/off by pressing a button combination of your choice, (i have it to "back" & "start" buttons) It works really well, even when IN big picture mode, you still get some prompts from games and windows occassionally, with this app, you don't need to ever grab your mouse *& keyboard, you can just use your controller and never leave your couch, Check it out when you can, "controller companion"
