Noble 6 never gets credit. He wasn't just a Spartan. He was an ONI black ops assassin who worked a lone against the insurrection. He could make entire terrorist organizations disappear. His commander called him "his Own personal grim reaper" master chief is 1 of only 2 Spartans to have the rating "highly lethal vector" the highest rating a Spartan can get. The other highly lethal vector Spartan? Noble 6. B312. He was supposed to go through this entire story next to chief but he did what he had to do on reach.

@@Mitsurugi2424 This is actually not true. Cortana wasn’t just a regular ship AI because she was far more advanced than others as well as being assigned to him directly before they were placed on the pillar of autumn. Master chief was still called John-117 and was the best of the Spartan II group, even to the point that he was given his own team to lead. Not to mention that the rest of the Spartan IIs were trapped on reach, presumed dead, at the start of the first game too. My little brother and I have been playing Halo since the first Xbox came out. We've been halo fans for years and grew up playing it. Halo 3 was our favorite game to play, and b4 there was Xbox live, we would play Halo 3 campaign. And when we had the first Xbox, we would always just kill each other and it was fun. Those were good times. Halo 4 was our next favorite. I remember trying to beat it on hard mode but I failed miserably, though I did get father than I realized. Halo CE anniversary was also another one of our favorites. Campaign, again, was our fav thing to do. Now Halo 3 multiplayer was beast. We were so good at Halo 3 campaign and did 1v1 to get better at it. Halo 5, I barely played it. I didn't like Halo 5 much in my opinion. We didn't know anything about lore growing up but watching this now, I understand more about the backstory of those beautiful game. I don't play Halo at all anymore now but it will always have a special place in my heart.❤️❤️🥰🥰

343 Studio really should have just put Cortana to rest with Halo 4's ending, which is emotional, impactful and well constructed. I have very few complaints against Halo 4 except the death of the Didact. His intro is epic as heck, but the way Master Chief defeated him is so anticlimactic and unceremonious. If only their battle could be a multi-stage epic boss battle in which the Chief strips the Didact's powers one by one.

This was the best Halo recap video I could find that didn’t leave out too many details but also didn’t drag things out either, I would say the only room for improvement would be a better back story on the precursors/forerunner conflict that gave rise to the flood, human/forerunner war + didact imprisonment and also a proper chronological order of events. 1. Forerunners vs. Precursors + birth of flood & Precursor abilities/life creators 2. Human/Forerunner War + Didact use of composer and his imprisonment 3. Halo Wars 4. Halo Reach 5. Halo CE 6. Halo 2 7. Halo 3 ODST 8. Halo 3 9. Halo 4 10. Halo 5 11. Halo Wars 2

It was a massively successful game that (imo) topped the 1st person shooter franchise overnight. From jumping 20 feet, the super suit with shield, the Loosey goosey warthog, Sticky plasma grenades, the game had it all! But the thing that got me the most. Was when the story changed, and the game got real. Suddenly you went from being superman to the flood showing up and you're on your heels trying to survive. Especially if you tossed it on hardcore!

I'm completely open to a conversation about the topic because I must think very differently from everyone else, because I really cannot find an issue with Halo 4 and Halo 5's narrative. If anything, they both dive even deeper into the lore of the Halo universe and carry on the story even further. The events of Halo 4 are really rather astounding and deep. I can understand the gameplay itself of Halo 5 being a little bit annoying because of the Warden popping up what felt like every 5 minutes, but again the story of it all carrying on from Halo 4 is incredibly expansive and to me, rather compelling. Is it because there's this seemingly newfound "illness" that Cortana has to deal with, or is there an issue new "beings" being introduced that weren't before mentioned, like the Guardians or the Didact? Or that all along Master Chief has been this chosen one who was meant to be the savior of everything? To me all of that drives the narrative even further with how much it expands the story, even if it does come out of nowhere. I really fail to see the problem with it all.
@YEETUSDAFEETUS Жыл бұрын
my issue with 5 is how they split the focus and made it squad based it felt wrong the fact you get maybe 4 missions as master chief and the majority was locke and then felt wrong too I don't mind a split story if both sides have equal showing but that's not what happened it's not even close

Great video weaving together the entire lore of the games series! To this day I believe Halo is a game that is primarily dedicated to its campaign mode. The story is rich and captivating! It’s sad that all we have really gotten so far is the paramount plus halo tv show. Really could make one hell of a movie series out of this.

A great multiplayer mode for halo would be to use the conquest mode in battlefield but with the halo twist and you can choose to become a marine, odst or any other regiments as well as other teams like the covenant would be cool

8:05 Loved Reach. The only thing I didn't like about it was that everyone, even Halsey, walked with the exact same overexaggerated swagger. Seems like a small thing but it always stuck out to to me.

Well, im still incredibly confused as to how weapon came into being and what happened to cortana..... and in general, the entire story is still pretty confusing to me..... but I DO feel a bit better prepared to play infinite.

minor errata around 5:34 -- the Saber was not a covenant vehicle they commandeered... though they used it to go do that.

I'm trying to work on a fanfic focused on the Dydact and Cortana, as they not only help each other regain at least a little of their sanity, but also try to figure out "What now ?". I know how I want the story to end, with them taking control over the last seeds of the Primordial race (there's a book in which sergeant Forge's daughter finds those seeds and plants them in a shield planet of the Forerunners) in an attempt to learn from the revived race how to control the hearts and souls of people throught non-belic methods (they believe that despite them raising these Primordials, eventually they'll simply acquire the knowledge the original race had, and they wish to learn from that knowledge in order for them to evolve themselves). But I don't know who their enemy could be or how they could arrive on that planet.
