Just a quick correction: Lethicia didnt become a "special blood zombie", but rather probably something called a "Unforgettable Spectrum". This is because in this universe, there are 5 elements: Blood Death Energy Knowledge Fear Blood Zombies are made of the afformentioned element, while Leticia's creature more closely resembles the element of Energy. And for those wondering, the Ooze is from the Death element, the Cavern is (most likelly) a mix of Blood and Fear, the cemetery is Energy and the Cathedral is (for what i know) the only reference to the element of Knowledge in the game. Verity's answer to Mia "[Jasser] is just a name" means a lot if you've watched the campaings. Verity's a man who left his whole identity, including his name, behind to serve the Order's mission. It's said that names are everything for the Other Side, but one of Verity's philosophies is that "names don't matter".

I've seen a lot of people in the comments dislike the voice acting for the english version of the game, my tip is if you really dont like the eng voices you should switch to the Portuguese ones, the Brazilian cast is the best vas we have and it's incredible, idk if the update allowing you to put audio and text in different languages is already available but if not it's coming soon.

I’m a big fan of the TTRPG and even help with the fan-made subtitles to make the sessions accessible for English speakers, so here are some general interesting facts regarding this universe and the game’s development (with spoilers): • Initially, Agatha was one of the most hated characters by the fandom until we got to know more about her, now she’s a fan favorite. Her wound that never heals was caused by the main antagonist of the Paranormal Order universe, Kian, who wants to permanently destroy the paranormal by erasing the existence of everyone who knows about it and/or was ever in contact with it. • The paranormal is divided between 5 elements: Energy, Knowledge, Blood, Death and Fear, the latter is the strongest and is not affected by the prior elements. The Ooze and the spirals are derivative of Death. • Samuel briefly mentions that Arnaldo Fritz was going to the Perimeter 20 years ago before being replaced by Mr. Verity. Arnaldo was a famous actor who died under mysterious circumstances and the father of a characters from the TTRPG campaigns. • Most gravestones from the Graveyard of Melodies have the names of people who supported the crowdfunding campaign, but you can also find Mia’s. It says “I know you are scared, but we are going to find him”. Presumably, she’s talking to Lupi about Mr. Verity. • Bagi, one of the TTRPG players since the first campaign, bought an one of a kind replica of Jaser’s coat for thousands of dollars during a charity event. She played the game while wearing it and has a small cameo alongside other players. • Lupi, Mia’s dog, was dubbed by Cellbit’s dog and is named after a dog Cellbit had when he was younger • Calisto and Goku share the same Brazilian voice actor. The same applies to Mr. Verity and Superman. • Cellbit likes to make ARG before announcements. During one of them, the fandom and the players were joking that they should use UV light and oil on the documents to find hidden messages. The next campaign was the first in person and they actually had to use the light. • There are two DLCs announced so far, one adapting the second campaign (“O Segredo na Floresta” or “The Secret in the Forest”) and one adapting the third (“Desconjuração” or “Deconjuration”). • I assume the English dub is so bad due to budget reasons, as the game was delayed multiple times and has some of the best Brazilian voice actors in the industry. Funnily enough, the studio gave multiple excuses for the delaying the game (including not wanting to compete with Elden Ring 💀) and one of them was that the SAG-AFTRA strike in 2023 was delaying the English dub, even though that strike didn’t include games, let alone indie games • During the first campaigns, Mr. Verity was actually a title used by the Order agents to keep anonymity and identify each other, but it was mostly used by mentors, so other teams had their own Mr. Verity and presumably the “main” Mr. Verity had his own Mr. Verity in the past as well. It’s open to interpretation if this was later retconned, as Mr. Verity’s ID says his last name is indeed Verity, just like Mia’s.

@@ratogalilei Yeah, the fandom is real shit, I don't remember everyone who left (being honest, i can't remember some player that didn't leave, I had to search), at least 1 player left because of the fandom, but Cellbit had some discussions with some players (Triz, Rakin, Calango, etc). But most controversy abount Cellbit has nothing to do with Ordem, he has the infamy of being known as a "narcissist" for a long time, and he is a really well-known person on the Brazilian internet for abount ten years, so is normal to someone to dig up some controversy of 2016 and start to hate him. Personally, I don't like his streams, they're just to big for me, and I don't feel welcome, I just watch and am a big fan of Ordem.

Fun Facts about the Paranormal Order universe: - It started as a TTRPG. The story of the first two seasons have been adapted to comic books which you can buy to read in Portuguese, English and Spanish. - "Lupi" is how "loop" is pronounced in portuguese - Mr. Verity had his name translated. Originally in Portuguese, his name is Veríssimo. This is a reference to the Portuguese fan translation of Ace Attorney, where Phoenix Wright's name is translated to Fênix Veríssimo - Cellbit have always been inspired by Junji Ito, hence the Spirals everywhere in the Paranormal Order universe - The game was dubbed in Portuguese by BIG BIG names in dubbing here, like Guilherme Briggs (Mikey, Buzz Lightyear, Superman, Optimus Prime) and Wendel Bezerra (SpongeBob, adult Goku, Pain from Naruto). Wendel's sister, Úrsula, dubbed Naruto and child Goku). - Agatha was the main antagonist of the TTRPG's first season. She exchanged bodies with a boy at some point, that's why she's gonna look more masculine in official art. Her voice and core personality remained the same because voices were the only way to differentiate NPCs at the time (since Cellbit does all the voices as the DM). - Please check out the original Portuguese dub when different dub and HUD are available. It's worth it.

It's so sad to see that the EN voices are receiving so much criticism. The BR voices are made by a dream team, the best voice actors that were also part of our childhood. My interpretation was that for a brief moment, Mia ceased to exist, so everything that she did was actually Jaser who did, since he was kinda of a son to Verity. When he chooses to reverse all back by HIM never existing, he makes that all of the events of the Perimeter never happened, because his birth was the cause of it all in the first place. Truly paradoxical and I love it.

Na minha concepção não tem como a Mia e Jaser estarem juntos. I finished the game yesterday, and I have a hypotesis that, if this game didn't have voice acting, it would be 10 times more annoying. The voice acting in Enigma of Fear is an inseparable part of the game, and I dare to say that it brings MUCH MORE horror than if the game wasn't dubbed. The sound design, voice acting and OSTs in general are just amazing.

This game gives off Lovecraftian vibes with the dark rituals, symbols, and the fact that the more the characters dig deep into the rituals and the symbols that they start to go insane, which is part of the Eldritch mythos of affecting the curious of their sanity; no longer able to distinguish between reality and hallucinations, that they are still affected permanently even after they survive the encounter with the entities, leaving them with severe PTSD and sometimes physical mutations. This game almost reminds of the game, FEAR & HUNGER. Where encountering the OLD ONES of that universe have a tendency of either enlightening oneself, or harming oneself with that knowledge. These types of games will always have the player be concerned of the character’s well being as it more often than not ends horribly for them. I wonder how many games of the lovecraftian genre exists…?

This exert about reaching enlightenment or harming oneself with the knowledge actually coincides with some the lore of the franchise! There are a few important elements of the other side: Blood, Energy, Death, Knowledge and Fear. The more you know about the other side, the more the other side consumes you, and knowledge in specific states this fact in it's iconic frase: "To know everything is to lose everything", so when you get to know everything both ways you've gone mad and got enlightened, literally stopping being human at that point, unless you get memory wiped.

Great video!! Answering your question about the grave on the Unhaunted One Wing: it is Jaser's grave. I believe that there is a document on the Graveyard saying that as soon as they uncovered that each grave had a name on them, and that it was possible to see Dèja-Vus within them, Verity asked them to take one specific grave with him - he probably wanted to see Jaser's memories to try to understand what happened with him.

I don't think that's the case, jaser's memories were shown to be stored in the giant mark of fear in the graveyard, the grave we see in the wing is likely verity's, which explains why the name is scrubbed out and why we can see verity and jaser fighting when using the ritual on it

As a brazilian myself I'm really happy that you played Enigma of Fear, I've been watching your videos for two years now and I watch the TTRPG streams since 2020. If you want to see more about the universe you don't need to watch everything, there's comics about the first two campaigns and the online wiki that is pretty much complete about the entire lore that the fandom knows. And If I'm not wrong, the game's supposed to have two expansions about the second and third campaigns of the TTRPG.

Yo man, great video, just two things, you forgot about the scene where Mia and Samuel transcends. Once you complete Samuel's enigmas, you can transcend with him, It´s kinda complicated to explain why that happens (I could explain If you wanted me to), but bassicaly samuel "Connects" with Eliakim, the first strach to have the "Vision", which leads to Eliakim knowing everything that Samuel discovered when he solve the cursed items, Unhaunted one, the perimeter, and the profecies, therefore, making eliakim, have the "Vision". And about Mia, heres the sigil's translation that appered on the screen: All Stories are memories. Now tou understand. Now you remenber. One Question: "Unhaunted one" (option chose by mia) An impossible overlayof the same marking. In the complete memories, there is an empty form that cannot be perceived. A reflection that must never be seen. Yet it is destined for its own encounter. You are that emptiness. Infinite variations, infinite repetitions, until the emptiness is filled. An impossible intervention. The impossible can only be a choice within the infinite.

1:04:40 I don't think that's the god of fear at all one thing you may have noticed is that this creature is frozen by green light and also, in the tabletop rpg, it's mentioned that death (the element) doesn't like when the timeline is messed up (for example, one time the parasite of dimensions, the death relich, attacked some of the order's agents after they traveled back in time) so I think that attacking mia is actually just a very powerfull death creature that's trying to correct destiny

another thing that can point to this is during Mia and Jaser's conversation, when i think Mia asks about the paradox or the enigma of fear and comments "so that was the God of Fear?" and Jaser says something like "was is God, actually?"

@@hikikomori6005 he does say "maybe" too tho but the thing I now believe most is that this is a creature formed by jaser's first fear paranormal creatures are elements taking shape of people's fears, but never before has a single person's fear created a creature, in the rpg book (I'm pretty) it's said that for a creature to be created by a single person's fear, the fear should be unfathomable and that's what happened, jaser never felt fear because he knew what was going to happen, the first time something different happens in a cicle he goes insane immediately and the creature appears

@@gabitheancient7664 ohh i didn't think about that, it's a pretty good theory I'd imagine feeling fear after who knows how long and how many times the cycle has happened must've been pretty strong i wish they'd explore more about this in the rpg, i think the only time they did something similar was in Segredo na Ilha with Amigo Imaginário? since it wasn't a very powerful creature in the series but after what happened, Cellbit stated that it became stronger, which we can see in the supplement book

56:43 From what I got, my understanding is that sofia died after giving birth because there is a statement where jaser says after sofia died, verity left the perimiter. And what calisto is seeing is likely verity killing him, connecting that most agents had a vision of how they'd die (probably caused by mias birth). But great video

It's a new game made by crowdfunding. It's release was last week, I guess, and was made by a Brazilian team with the story and universe created by a Brazilian KZbinr called Cellbit that is famous for playing puzzle games and his great series of RPG campaigns in his channel. This game is a extension of the RPGs universe. I'm not a fan, but the story is very interesting.

The one thing missing in the video is the major revelation in the begining of Jaser's vision about what, after all is the Enigma of Fear and why on earth would an Unhaunted One (tm) be needed. He states that each of the Strachs' personal fear sealed their fate and that each fear is personal, individual, and could not be compared, resulting in the Enigma of Fear being "what is the greatest fear of all?", the Unhaunted One (tm) being a person, such as Jaser, who fears nothing (as for he doesn't even have any feelings in the begining), and the Greatest Fear (not tm, probably) the one thing that could scare the Unhaunted One (tm). In this case, the impossibility of that loop being broken.

Cellbit always said in his campaigns that nothing good comes from the paranormal, the other side is not something good or that can be manipulated into something good, every interaction with it, good or bad, comes with heavy price, agent or cultist So i wonder what will happen to Mia, given that there are still two seasons of the ttrpg planned, one of them may be apocalyptic in nature since it's the final boss of the last one + the entity of blood, the price of hatred, the devil itself. i wonder if Mia will be involved somehow, idk what being the "unhaunted one" means exactly, but whatever it is will lead to her death or her inexistence probably

some small corrections/adding onto things in this amazing video; agatha, when speaking about a wound that will never close, is talking literally. it refers to something that happened in the main story in the rpg yuri isn't abraham's son, but actually his brother! we can see a photo of them together as kids in the mansion lethicia's boss form isn't a special kind of blood zombie, but more akin to a specter, it's her echo or a combination of one and an "unforgetable specter" alan and oswald are a couple! theo refers to them as uncles, and we see pictures of them together in samuel's part, if you can resolve the puzzle with each item, you'll see what's most likely the original profecy also, calisto sends a message to verity at the end of the game, prompting agatha to ask "who's calisto?", i believe it's what they were talking about during the investigation 20 years ago, saying "everyone will be back in the other ending" this doesn't apply to sofia, since her death is crucial to mia existing and breaking the cycle

Also, if yall are interested in more of this history, here's Paranormal Order lore: [SPOILERS FOR PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING] The paranormal doesn't come to our reality easily. Or at least, things should be like that. Our world has a solid base of sanity, that's why paranormal manifestations of the Other Side only appear in especific places. The Veil that separates our reality from the Other Side can be weakened by Fear, and various grupes of ocultists are willing to do whatever it takes to weaken that Veil and summon the entities of the Other Side. Because of that, a organization of paranormal detectives was created: Ordo Realitas. Living double lifes, the agents of the Order secretly investigate and combat the paranormal, protecting Reality and fighting those that are simply willing to engulf the world into chaos. The Other Side: The Other Side is a alternate reality divided from ours by the Veil, a barrier of sorts that keeps the entities of the Other Side from crossing to our reality. However, the Veil can be weakened by Fear, to the point that the Veil get's thin and damaged to the point that paranormal beings and effects and manifest in our reality. By being exposed to the Paranormal, normal people can achieve great powers and learn rituals. At the cost of their body and sanity they can choose to receive Affinity to one of the Entities of the Other Side (exept for Fear) when they reach 50% Paranormal Exposition. Small Corrections: - Yuri is not Abraham's son, he's Thiana's son and Abraham's brother. - Lethicia didn't become a "special kind of blood zombie". Blood Zombies are creatures that emerge from dead bodies, but they're only one of many that can come from that. Blood Zombies come when the element of Blood, one of the 5 elements of the paranormal, invades a corpse. Ooze Skeletons also come from dead bodies but they're reanimated by the ooze created by the element of Death, and Lethicia became a specter because of the Graveyard's huge connection with the element of Energy. All of these came from dead bodies, but not all of them are Blood Zombies. Lethicia's boss's official name is "Fragmented Specter", and it is a creature associated with the element of Energy, with absolutely zero connection to Blood.
