Tahnks for the Solutions; do you a Video for a Ps3 Stickdrift?
@salahtalih7383Ай бұрын
I didn't think this would actually work, but the cardboard trick seemed the most sensible to me, and so I tried it. I shit you not when I say that all it took was a couple of rotations and the drift was gone. And no, I'm not one of those comments that are pushing you into trying something stupid to ruin your stuff. Just make sure not to poke in too hard and do full circles around. If you notice dust coming out from inside your controller, be optimistic that if the drift isn't gone by that point, at least some improvement would be made.

I have stick drift on my PowerA Nintendo Switch Pro controller. The only options I’ve done I did blow compressed air into it but didn’t do the method of moving the stick away and all the way round, and the other one was opening it up and using contact cleaner. I’m thinking I might not have done something right, but I’ll try this again since it’s my favorite controller next to the Splatoon 2 NS Pro Controller.
@robert_roland637 ай бұрын
Update: The compressed air fixed the issue. I’ll be saving this for future reference. Thank you for all that you do!
@robert_roland637 ай бұрын
Second Update: The left joystick is still drifting to the left, but not as much as before. I’ll keep trying, but I might take it apart again and use contact cleaner again just to be sure.

my solution was breaking the controller (none of these ways worked)
@originsmaster8140Ай бұрын
That’s because stick drift is an internal problem. There’s 4 reasons why you can get stick drift: 1. If you’re a dirty fuck and you’ve allowed gunk to build up in your joystick and it’s physically preventing your sticks to center. 2. The potentiometers got dust or a hair in them; you will need to disassemble the controller and clean the sensors but that will fix the issue for now. 3. The potentiometers are worn out. This problem can’t just be fixed by blowing on the controller. You will need to replace the sensors. (Hall effect sensors are THE BEST replacement as those are magnetic and will not wear down ever, or stop working because of dust or a hair) 4. The recentering spring went bad or broke. This one will almost certainly NEVER happen. It’s super rare. Unless you’re playing with a 15+ year old controller this shouldn’t happen to you. You can be proactive, get a $30 soldering kit from Amazon and a pack of Hall effect sensors and upgrade all your controllers to the superior sensor so you never get drift and can give Sony the middle finger. PS sega was doing this on the Dreamcast in 98, so we know the companies are being scummy.

*THE CARDBOARD TRIANGLE THING WORKED!!!* So I tried this method first and I was able to feel some kind of buildup getting in the way as I was rotating it around so I started focusing on that area of the analog until it felt smooth. My analog even feels smoother.

I figured I'd try the cardboard trick as it seemed like the most effective method, but it's actually the vacuum method that worked for me. Although the solution may be temporary, it's certainly a relief to not have my character running a 5K without so much as breathing on my controller. Thank you!!

No, this is legit. These are techniques I've been showing people on this channel for a couple of years now. Viewers have confirmed with their comments that the methods have worked. As mentioned in the the description, I estimate 60% of people can fix their issues with these techniques. Another 30% or so can fix by going inside and doing additional things (using the longer videos). Probably about 10% will need to do a full replacement of the stick, because the controller is too worn out.
