I have been DYING for this the FIRST thing I played on my DK1 was Metro2033 in VorpX and I DREAMED of a PROPER VR metro fingers crossed they don't Drop the Ball like Borderlands Skrym and Fallout, luckily mods are saving Skyrim and Fallout but they SHOULD have HAD TO BE SAVED, and R* better not SCREW up GTA VR especially after killing Luke Ross' mod but some how I REALLY doubt R* will live up to the quality of what Luke Ross does

That whole Bonelab situation made me never want to be hyped again for a game. The best games I've played are those where I went in blind with low expectations. That and games that I've heard praised for years after release.

Plus the hype is already there because it's Metro. Which has already proven itself time and again for those who love the series. The reason he is saying it has potential is because he doesn't want to over hype it. Even though he had fun. He has to say that for people can't manage their own expectations.

I honestly believe it will Half Life Alyx quality.the Metro series is easily one of my favorite story driven FPS franchises.I put Metro up there with Bioshock.I believe this will easily be Vertigo’s best work to date

No, it will definitely not man. It has much less detail than even the 14 years old Metro 2033 on PC. It is a mobile VR game. And it looks good on this platform. But it is not even near the quality graphics of Alyx. Sorry.

Hope it gets Quest 3 is much more powerful than Quest 2 See the comparisons of Walking Dead, the Quest 3 version looks close to PCVR, and I tried myself because I have a decent PC and the game has crossbuy (you buy on Meta Store and can install on Standalone and PC, I love games with this feature)

Definitely not the next one on PSVR2. Vertigo Games has a Reputation to not support the Headsets Feature Eyetracking-Rendering and therefore the Games will look mediocre in resolution at its best...may be with a good amount of reprojection in tandem. So for PC - may be it can look good, but we will see the Quests Origins ingame, i have no doubt about it.

My main concerns would be level of polish. A highly curated slice for people to play is a 50/50 deal. Also no mention of length. If this is another 5 hour tech demo they can keep it. I never really enjoyed the Metro series on flat-screen and i honestly don't see anything here that changes my opinion of that. However if its a full length game polished game i would buy it if for no other reason to support VR.

It is definitely not AAA! It may be a good AA title but nothing more. It is designed for mobile platforms and shows much less detail than even the old Metro 2033 14 years ago. The advantage is it is in VR, but it definitely not uses the full power of a modern VR PC for a rich and detailed Metro experience . Too much hype.

Why you assume that? Did you saw Batman footage on Quest 3? Did you saw how Red Matter 2 and Walking Dead Saints and Sinners look on Quest 3 Standalone? The Dev just needs to be competent 🙂 But no problem for me, If the Quest 3 Standalone is not as good for my taste I refund and pick on Steam, to play on my RTX 3070Ti Laptop, without the need of buying any adapter 🙂

Assassin's Creed Nexus VR is the best VR game for me And I played every major VR game available for PCVR and Quest Including Half Life Alyx Even not being perfect, AC Nexus is so much fun, and it's full body, you feel you are Ezio, Cassandra and Connor

For many people nothing rips us out of immersion like janky arm IK. Until there is full tracking of the arms in many cases I would prefer floating hands that are 100% correct.
