To Jungle Boy, my best friend was Cedric Pollard. I've always heard of his cousin who grew up to become a sheriff named Marvin Pollard, but for some strange reason, I never met him. Me and Crip Ced were together every single day since the 6th grade, so it's weird I never met him. Ced went to Compton High, while Marvin went to Banning High. In the 10th grade, we knocced on his door, but nobody didn't answered. I guess that's for a reason. I'm from Nutty Blocc Compton Crip. Cedric Pollard was one of our top riders for the hood - ballin' out of control, but still pushing the line on puttin' in work for the hood. You don't find too many ppl with that much money still goin' on missions on the enemies regularly like that. He died in 1997 shooting up a funeral. Before he got big in the dope game, and started takin' dope out of state, he robbed everything in Compton, Watts, and South Central L.A. He robbed one of raps biggest hip hop names for six figures in cash. I was in prison when he did all that. Cedric Pollard was a fighter, a shooter, and a hustler at the same time. He was quicc to squabble with anybody. He was about 6'4", so he had that reach. He was even quicker to bust on somebody. Me and him lived in our worst enemy hood. He lived a few houses down the street, so since we both lived in enemy hood, we always walked together as youngsters. We fought enemies side by side many days - got our houses shot up and all that, but even our enemies had mad respect for us. We caught an attempted murder case together. You hardly saw one of us without the other. I miss my road dog, and I say all this in detail to let you know about your family. It blew my mind when you said Pollard. There are millions of Pollards, but the fact you said Marvin Pollard as a sheriff, you gotta be related to the homie.

I am a doctor, and for many of you he seems like a miracle, but for a doctor this a miracle amongst miracles. This leaves me looking at walls with a blank expression like.... damn divine intervention must be real, because there is no reasonable explanation for this man to be able to be articulate, have average memory function.... and most of all what seems normal range bodily coordination. There are examples from the history of medicine with soldiers from ww1 and 2 with maybe 60-70% of this guys wounds that are still considered immense medical miracles... but this.... I... I can't even... ... what ?? this dude has the most insane PVE/PVP TANK genetics. This dude a video game character

The mental strength this man has to possess to endure what he's gone through and still come out the other side. It dwarfs the physical toughness he's exhibited. Amazing interview. I wonder what he feels his purpose in life is. With what he's survived he has to have reflected on that.

I mean we don't know who he killed. If it was other gang members and not innocents then that is the kill or be killed mentality. He might have killed police, we don't and will never know. Regardless, he is a very interesting person. I would like to think that someone who survives that much has something good to do or give. There is no such thing as evil, it isn't that simple, unfortunately. All people have redeeming traits, skills and talents. Apparently, this guys most obvious talent is not dying haha.

This interview was the most interesting by far. This man has lived one hell of a life and he's blessed to still be here to tell it. I wish JB the best and I hope he stays on the outs and enjoys being with his family because life is short and he's done more then enough time in prison. Although he's lived a rough life he's smiling still and seems to be in high spirits. He would be the perfect person to speak to youths about gang life and where it leads you and all the bullshit that comes with it. His life story could change other lives. Something to think about JB .... Xo Great job Mark ‼️
