David Pajo is the only person on earth who could do Andy’s parts justice.

I’m willing to believe there are at least 3 people (statistically), only Mr. Pajo is BRAVE enough to get up on stage and do it…

There's a difference between Capable While Too Buzzed and not knowing the music AT ALL. Who are you morons - are you all 23 yrs old? I did NOT hear a SINGLE Gill tone cluster until King wrecked (corrected) the guitar tuning on the botched Trains bridge. I'd kick his ass out & hire a NON-guitarist with percussion experience. I feel sorry for King & The Professor.

@keith ellis Really? How TF did I miss that? Where was it? Music Hall? My first gig was The Skids at the Music Hall in March 79 and rarely missed any punky kinda bands for a few years after that. Gutted I missed GoF in Aberdeen.

@@jonstrummer6930 ,hi Jon ,yeah it was at the Students Union.Supported by Delta5 and the Au Pair's. Got to say, after all these yrs it still sticks in the mind as one of the best gigs of that era.

@Keith Ellis Ah ok, that makes sense Keith. I was only 12 when I started going to gigs so there were a couple of venues that I just couldn't get into if they were serving alcohol. Ruffles was one so I'd just skip school and go meet the bands at the soundchecks n get stuff signed n blag drumsticks etc. Still got them all. Simple Minds, UK Subs, Exploited😖, Pretenders, Undertones, Rezillos and Crass(plus a banner I 'borrowed') I did that at most gigs though. Was totally unaware GoF ever played here. Cheers mate.

I'm glad this exists and the OP uploaded it; but I do wish it was professionally recorded, as the sound quality / mix is poor. Outside the Train Don't Run on Time lacks the low-end to booty shake, which originally made it unique among post-punk. Perhaps some kind soul can remaster the audio - have seen other KZbin videos where this has been done?
@gavinholmes7768 Жыл бұрын
No live soundboard plugins these days... I'd never thought about enhancing the audio from my GoPro recordings, tho. Will look into it for future recordings.

@@gavinholmes7768 like I say I'm grateful you uploaded it full stop soany thanks. I think there are some good utilities incorporating AI that can make it much less of a burden. It isn't always the OP who rips the live video and does the remastering, any hobbyist with a bit of knowledge (or a time rich novice) can do it. Thanks again for putting it up there. It's kind of you.
