Want to add focusing on a good stretch in a slow eccentric movement . But I believe you have to have already a good "base" of mind muscle connection to fully utilize it.

Thanks Dave, Been trying to keep your advice and training tips in mind while training as a beginner! I am training s & c as an adult for mixed martial arts / wrestling because I want to perform athletically when I start skills training. Your concepts have helped me alot, and I know you have a larger collection of videos so my question for you is: as a taller person in the weight class 6' instead of 5'8, what are a few exercises that you recommend as being good for lankier dudes to ensure strength through driving movements?
