You have a good, consistent plan;garbage picking is a endless treasure hunt. That continues into the flea market, that your customers know is not going to be the same old stuff.Knowing exactly what the value of a pick is,is a talent that you do not deviate from. This separates you from just being a hoarder who only checks out the garbage and builds a mountain of stuff at home.Having the ability to not fall in love with junk,to sort it,sell or not and then scrap it;is a great way to run a one man show.I have a different sorting type of job and my hat is off to you.

Thanks for sharing the videos of the garbage hauls, like them a lot. I just can't believe some of the things people throw away. But I did this for a while and I have seen and found some good stuff. Thanks again keep making more....

where I live we can not put anything on the street-we have to pay for our own trash pick up or take it to the dump-nothing is allowed on the roads-period. guess that is why i love watching these videos lol

I can't believe what people throw away out there. Where I live you would never see anything but garbage bags. People either sell things they don't want, bring to thrift store or they have to take it to the dump themselves. Garbage truck services would never pick up anything but bags. I would be dumpster diving if that were possible around here!

You may want to double-check the value of that chair you found that you said was covered in glitter. My grandmother had a set like that, the glitter is part of the material and they come from the early 1970s, you may be able to sell it on Craigslist for a nice amount to someone who wants retro furniture. I second what that other person said about the vacuum cleaner, I sell the parts on ebay and it does pretty well. Anyway, please do more vids like this, I love it! Always great to see someone else finding their treasures.

I can't believe how much is thrown away. I enjoy watching just to see the difference in prices in different areas. Things you sell for $1 at the flea market, in TN, SC & FL they bring much more money. I don't travel and sell at markets, I just know because when visiting family in those states I hit flea markets. Evidently, people in your area get a new grill each year. In Florida, grills are used year round and aren't replaced until they are worn out. I also enjoy your thrift store buying, again prices are so different. I started watching about 6 weeks ago and love your channel. Would you put your Ebay address in show more section. I have seen several things I would really be interested in purchasing. I appreciate your leaving a little of the cord on the appliances in case someone can use them, just replace the cord. Thanks for sharing, thumbs up...I too am a Jeep person, but a Cherokee, lot older than you.

A year late but...To brighten the yellow and clean the rug, get "oxy" at $ tree (most the time they have a 2 lb double size) add to water in a 33 gallon plastic trash can or bath tub (if it will fit) and pre-soak before using power washer or car wash to rinse. Mystery stains disappear like magic. Worth a buck if it's something you want to keep for your own use. I almost cry at the furniture you see and leave behind. Wish I could follow you in a UHaul and get it all. Enjoying your vids, just found you yesterday.

I know why you stripped the power wire from the Oreck vacuum.. bottom line Oreck sells new for $250 and like the weed eater you got and repaired ... parts for Orecks are inexpensive ... If the cleaner needed a simple repair ... could have been a possible profit maker... i would have checked it out ... just a humble opinion... i do know you work hard for yourself... KEEP LIVIN THE DREAM ...PEACE

Charities in Australia throw out a lot of toys. It might seem like a good thing to do but in my experience, if particular toys won't sell at a flea market, they have next to zero chance of selling in an op shop (thrift store). The problem with the large doll houses etc is the space they take up and they're so common, they're hard to sell. Having said that, rarer or small toys are good bread and butter sales for me at the market. I sell them for 50c or $1, sometimes give them away free with other sales. Just the bigger stuff I find isn't worth it
