Is this the only restoration video on your channel? Generally you are starting from scratch with pallets and/or planks that need more than a bit of love. Either way, I find your work fascinating to watch. I think my favorite part is after you spend what seems like forever perfecting a single piece of the furniture or whatever, you look it over like, “glad that is done “, then the next frame shows a stack of completed ones just as perfect as the first. Patience is definitely something you have in abundance. Thanks for sharing your skills and creativity with us. By the way, I love your ever present blue striped socks!

Nice Ive recently done this project for a neighbors cast iron bench. It was a child’s size bench that their kids used frequently. Roundovered the edges, left the patina alone and threw in a couple hardwood mahogany scraps in the seat to give it some extra strength so adults could technically sit on it hah ✊️ thanks for sharing.

I'm part way through a bench restoration, (a first for me) and I've watched a fair few restoration project vids on here. This is the best so far in my novice opinion. Not many have gone to the trouble of making or using bracing. Without the bracing your lovely bench is saggy and the wood isn't going to last. I also liked the paintwork, what more do you want. Thanks for the your vid!

I hope your restoration is going (or went) well. When Mr Incredible Epic was bending the metal pieces/braces, I was worried his vise would pop out of the workbench, or more likely, rip a chunk out of the bench along with the vise! Beware your own strength, right? 🤓 Have a safe and happy new year!
