I'm sorry Maria but no a woman not only can't but shouldn't have to do it all. Don't get me wrong I have mad props for Garden Addictz but I'm sure she knows what I'm talking about. A woman cannot teach a boy to be a man, they need their father for that & I say this having been a single mother with 2 boys who needed their father. I get the whole strong independent woman thing but even that's a myth. Being strong & independent only makes us hard & women aren't designed to be hard... we're the nuturers/care givers. Worst thing I did for me & my kids was buy into that feminist bs. That feminist trash has destroyed the nuclear family & we're seeing the cumulative effects play out every day

@@loloholmes2793why do you assume she is single..having been bought into that "feminist bs" . She has a man. This is her channel. Don't make assumptions based on stereo-types. We are more than wives and mothers as Maria probably meant. We have our passions too which need nurturing. In this insistence she is DOING IT ALL!!

It’s so clear that you garden because you love it, because it feeds your soul, and because it provides a respite from everything else going on, even as everything else continues around you (queue the kids 😄). Beautiful children ! I stumbled upon your channel . I'm a hydrangea lover, but I'm partial to the blue blooms. I don't know what type they are, because I bought them from Home Depot and there weren't any tags on them. I bought two and they have such large beautiful leaves. I didn't just buy them for color for my front porch , but I want to keep them along time . I thought all hydrangeas's loved the sun , because as a child I saw them in fields and they were bloomed and huge . Now, I am being told they don't like direct sunlight. 😅 I want to keep them in pot. I already transplanted them , but not sure if the pot was large enough for flowers to say in them until at least next year. I am so impressed with your knowledge and admire your love for flowers . Especially, hydrangeas . I love a good challenge . Hopefully I can learn from you . Last night I put them in the garage because where I reside, I have a bit of a cold snap. It is in the 50's today, April 3, 2024. It was 70 degrees yesterday in Atlanta. This is typical to have 4 seasons in 1 week in Atlanta. 😊 Teach me , teach me. I don't want them to die. Before fall , I wonder if I should transplant them into a pot where there's a a lot of space? It's Rhetorical , I know you can't answer this without seeing the pot. I'm going to keep watching and learning . Thank you for sharing your potted garden .

Ah yesss!!! Im OBSESSED with hydrangeas too!!!! I have 7 Macrophylla, 4 panicle, 1 oakleaf and 3 arborescence & I need more!! Lol! I’m so glad I watched this video because now when I go shopping for more Macrophylla hydrangeas I’ll look into the dirt to see how many plugs are in the pot. I live in a zone 5 in Canada and I have 4 in pots that I made out of 2 big barrels that I cut in half, I did exactly what you said and I put them in my garage on block pallets to lift them off the cold concrete and they make it through the winters beautifully. They are humongous now and have tons and tons of flowers, I fertilise with Bone Meal only and I use a water soluble bloom booster(0-45-50) when I see the buds emerging. I love your content and I hope to see more wonderful videos filled with your knowledge about hydrangeas!

Your children are so respectful! Asking if they can pass! I have to have my husband take my kids all the way out the house to film! 😂 *well 2 of them are 😂😂😂 As I was writing this one of your children walked by without asking. **My son is 3 & he is still going through his terrible 2's. He is ALWAYS on the move, getting into something- the dog food/water, hell dump them out several x's a day, always grabbing drinks off the counter & throwing them!, he'll dump the clothes out of the laundry baskets, climb on the sink & put random things in the water, etc. & I soend all day chasing after him, & while I clean up one mess, he is maki g another! 😫 Its so exhausting! I have NEVER seen a child as active as he is! Im so jealous of my brother & sister- their kids will sit down & watch tv/ movies! & lately, like the last 4-6 months, he gets sooo emotional, a lot of the time over nothing, and will start crying. & hes NEVER been a crier?!?

"When dividing these you've got to be careful because you don't want to break anything." Ten seconds later she's stomping on a shovel to separate her plants. Haha! 😆 The old excuse, "I ran out of potting soil." Yep, I used that one myself and picked a few plants besides. I'm so antsy to see growth on my hydrangeas. Over winter, someone (ahem 🐇) pruned my new plants for me. They're just starting to bud out. I'm on the lookout for another 'Limelight' and a 'Quickfire.' I don't think I'll fine a 'Lime Rickey' at the big box stores so may have order it online. I think my PeeGee hydrangea standard I've had for 20 years may have bit the dust. It's okay. I'll get a new standard (maybe 'Limelight') and care for it properly. I'm learning the importance of pruning maintenance. You are such a beautiful person, Moya, and you and your husband have grown some adorable children. By the way, I got a small hydrangea several years ago because it had 'Jane' as its name (my sister's name). I looked it up online and see it's also called 'Little Lime.' 🤔

I just have to say thank you so much for this video 🥰❣️ I just discovered you I've watched maybe two before this one, and I was a single mom of one girl. Love of my life. Boy s go through the terrible twos when they get a little older generally between like four and six, yeah I know not fair but totally different than girls. The thing is that it's easier when boys are teenagers and harder when girls are teenagers and vice versa when they're young. Sorry to have to tell you that 🤭❣️❣️ But I just love the knowledge that you have from your own experience and that is something that I think more people need to hear 😎 I'm watching you try to do the video and be a mama at the same time just brought back so many memories only I was a decorator and designer and quite often had my daughter on jobs with me and she would play with the clients kids and yeah I'd be trying to work 😱😉❣️ So cannot wait to see the next one Please keep them coming 😍❣️💝🌹❣️❣️❣️

I did not get to watch the entire video, so not sure if she mentioned this. If you have plants overwintering in a pot they need to be zoned 2 zones colder than your area. The pots get MUCH COLDER for the plant, than if the plant was in the ground. If you are in a cold winter location your plants may have been winter killed.

Thank you for posting what is one of the most realistic garden videos I've ever seen on yt! 😁 I hesitate to upload to my channel bc so many of my videos will look like this. Young children act this way, and there's no way I have time to edit out all of the interactions, especially while gardening. Love these hydrangea tips, thanks again!

You ARE a professional. Gardener and Mom. I just discovered you and I learned some new things! as I have been wanting to try hydrangeas in pots. We can grow them in the yard - deer eat them like candy here. It felt like I just walked down the street to a friends garden. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. From Zone 6b in NE Ohio. 😊

Almost my entire planter/ pot collection is second hand! I feel ya! Ok maybe I'll try them in containers this year because they did not like being in the ground last year. It definitely could've just been me tho😭🤣☺️🌿
