LAURA .. Just to let you know a little about the history of that statue is the “Guadalupe Virgin” and she is so related to roses, in fact the way she showed the first time, (1531) was to a native named Juan Diego, she told him “ pick up some roses from around my feet, and bring them to those who don’t believe about me” he picked up the roses and carried with his “shirt “ and when he dropped to the people who did not believe, showed the image of the Guadalupe Virgen on his clothes. And I think is so beautiful that you added more roses to her feet … 🥰🥰🥰

I agree. However, I think the King Tutt are annual for that zone. I think Laura was unloading some of her plants in anticipation of the Hartley coming. You can't keep plants in nursery pots for too long. This also provided her the opportunity to promote Proven Winners, her sponsor since her property is sort of 'under construction' I imagine she misses the planting and landscaping.

It kind of looks man-made from when they built the house since the back of the house shows more levels than the front. They probably dug down and just used the dirt to create hills instead of discarding.

A really gorgeous garden! A waterfall, a pond and gorgeous plants all over, a very lovely spot for Our Lady of Guadalupe statue, and 8:17 planting more roses was the perfect touch around the statue, because she is known for the miracle of the roses in 1531. 13:52 Speaking of hummingbirds, right now we have a pair of hummingbirds hatching 2 tiny eggs on a thin branch of a Ficus microcarpa tree that was planted by my late father over 40 years ago near the front door, precisely the nest hangs 5 inches above of our front door, it is so small and delicate, it is a pleasure to see. Hugs from Sonora, Mexico!

Imagine Laura suddenly appears in your garden with such enthusiasm planting even a container and leaving you with much more than a pot of flowers. It is truly a labor of love. What a blessing you are with a giving heart Laura! You are so inspiring in the midst of your own "chaos" of change with your growing family and property renovation, yet you make time to share your talents with so many around you. The time you spend not only planting and filming, but sharing such detailed information for each plant, location choice, personal experience growing, etc is so appreciated. I think we can all learn to be a bit more giving as you so frequently do. Put the pond in! Do it! You know you want to! I want a pond so bad, always have, last year I noticed my little duck laying under a chair, panting cause she was hot, she has water all over to sit in but she wasn't using it except to put grass and dirt in, happily making a mud hole LOL. I grabbed my shovel and started digging out a bit near the bird feeders, lined it with plastic and made a cute little puddle, putting rocks in and around it too. I made it with a couple shallow ends and a deeper end for my Ducky. Filled it up and she LOVED it! So did the wild birds! They were crazy in the puddle, loving life bathing and drinking

Oh, this video inspired me so much! I have a small, empty slope with some largish rocks, and like you, Laura, I need to look at it for awhile to know what to do! It gets full sun and because of your previous vids, I know I need some black lace elderberries to anchor the space. I’m in the Boise area, and if you’re looking for another landscape to fill in, let me know! Lol!! I discovered Far West Nursery even before I saw them on your channel and have become a dedicated customer!
