I just have to say, as someone who's done video work, editing, filming & what-not in a past profession, you do such a fabulous job Aaron of following Laura & having the camera look at what she's showing us. I feel like I'm truly on a personal tour with Laura & she's showing me her garden. I think your work in making the videos pleasant to watch is just great as Laura's work in sharing gardening inspiration, information & insights. You two are such a great team. Thank you for a positive, restful, inspiring channel

My father in law has 22 bee hives. Ten of them came from swarms this year. My husband and I were working in the yard one day and I hear this noise and I look up and all I see is a big black cloud over my head. It was a swarm of bee's. I didn't know I could run that fast. I got my father in law to go up to where the bee's was and he just walks right in the middle of them. 🤪😳. So he should have plenty of honey this year.

I audibly thanked Aaron for pulling that sunflower petal. OCD anyone? I can’t wait to see where all of those beautiful flowers go. Looking forward to updates of the college throughout the season.

Have you thought about putting the pondless waterfall in the bed opposite your kitchen door? Greg always recommends having things like that where you can see them and I think it would be lovely in that shady bed

@@growingwithjay1 mostly stopped sharing although I didn't garden much last year because I wasn't well. Hoping to be back to it this year (if it ever stops raining) and I might start sharing again

Have you ever thought about building a natural play area under the willow for Benjamin and Samantha Grace? Sandbox, swings, balance beam, stepping stumps, a track for Benjamin’s trucks, etc. i can totally see them using their imagination and playing together happily for years to come. What wonderful memories could be made there.

At 8:20 Russell peeks his head out and walks behind a bush slowly. He's such a camera lover so it cought me off guard that he would do that. I agree with others that you should make a T-shirt with him in it. 😺💚

"Isn't this the most beautiful - insert plant, flower, etc.!" Every single location and vista is truly beautiful. So love the tours you share. Working on a new to me garden and struggling with all the tree roots and clay to plant in/around. My drill auger just laughs and seizes up on me. My lavendar plants in pots are looking sad --- wish I had your help.

This may surprise you, because I'm sure you were hesitant to do the tour with all the construction going on... but this was absolutely my all time favorite tour you have ever done! It is the only tour that I have seen you be so thorough and show every part of your yard. I also loved the way Aaron drove the drone around the driveway. It would be a neat video to just do a view of what it's like to drive through your property. Starting from the start of your drive, and driving all the way through with the drone. If you did it once a year, it would be neat to see how everything has grown and progressed... Just such a wonderful tour! Very impressed, thank you!

Those who follow Feng Shui principles will understand why that visual ‘weight’ of the gazebo was rather daunting. It’s all about the flow of energy. I love how you explain what ideas you have as it gives me some ideas for my own gardens! Laura and Aaron , I celebrate all your success with your gardening initiatives ! Excellent video footage at the end! 🇨🇦

oh my gosh... tears of joy here... when i think of the first videos i watched from leaving your townhouse, moving in here, and now to see all these changes over the years... well, just wow!! it is AMAZING... i am so very happy you were able to purchase that additional acreage: so much development around you, and here's this oasis of beauty... just so happy and proud of the way you two have come in and put your stamp on this property... the drone shots at the end really had me choked up - it got me, it really got me... i feel and hear your excitement in this video so much... cannot wait to see the transformation as projects get completed... exciting and fun times, and we get to come along!! keep us posted on the bees!! maybe they're yours and they came back!! :)
