Laura, I love the heuchera and the hosta's together! They really make a special statement in your garden!

You are so blessed to have access to such a wonderful variety of plants. I wish we had a gardening center like your families. Here in west central PA we're zone 5 too but our greenhouses and nurseries are so limited in what they sell. I too have honeybees and try to plant heavily for them. I'm so thankful I stumbled on your videos recently, I love them and have been watching some everyday. I love how you explain everything. I know part of the point is for us to want to buy the products you use and it's working, I find myself looking for them. Congratulations to you and your husband on the little one coming, your family will be enriched.

I so enjoy your videos. I hadn't been a real You Tube enthusiast unless I was doing a project that I needed a little of help on. Needless to say I stumbled onto one of your videos and now I am hooked I don't do winter months well so I have spent a lot of time catching up on all your videos . We have had several warm days in January and I have had a hard time keeping myself in control. I have spent a lot of time outside but there is only so much one can do right now. I am trying a few new things, like planting a few seeds. I have also enlarged one of my flower beds and can hardly wait to start planting I ordered a little Quick Fire online and it is already budding out. I also purchased 3 cotton candy hellebore and got them put in the ground. I fell in love with hellebores about 4 years ago but found out they weren't an easy item to find in my area. I moved to another area north of Oklahoma City a couple of years ago Last spring I visited the local Lowes and I asked a young man working there if they had Lenten Roses or hellebores. He said yes and he had a deal for me. Not being familiar with hellebores the store had brought them inside when the weather temperature dipped and I'm sure you know what happened. The young man took me back and showed me a rack full of droopy, sickly looking plants. They sold me 11 plants for half price. I stuck them in the ground and they have been blooming since the end of December. Having those lovely plants is encouraging......spring will be here soon. Are you ready for spring?

Hey Laura Thank you for introducing me to the Proven Winner fertilizer. I used another big name brand and if I would forget and put the fertilizer in my jug first. I was in trouble b/c if would foam and take forever until I could water my plants. Proven Winners doesn't do that. I can't wait to see if it makes a difference on my plants b/c so far I'm in love with it.I wouldn't have known about if not for you. Thanks so much!!

Gorgeous! I think I would prefer the Autumn Frost hosta because of the continuity of the creamy colors of the hydrangea while providing a different texture as it drifts around the corner of the house ..... but the Tiarella looks amazing with the black veining down the center of the leaves, too!! Love the video :)

I would love some videos on how to plan a garden space. I have a typical neighborhood yard -so basically planting beds around the perimeter of the house itself and I need advice on how you design for that type of space. So far I have just bought what I like and filled in with annuals but I need a better plan.

I love this garden channel ❤️we just moved to an new place and have a huge garden...this channel popped up, just at the time, we were starting to work in it. Could you please mention, when you plant your new shrubs or plants, etc., if they are non-toxic - especially if they carry berries. That would be great. Thank you. ❤️

Those are beautiful! I have three different heucheras in glazed clay pots on my front porch, They add a lot of color! Eventually i'll need to put them in the ground i guess. i don't know how they'll winter over when it falls below freezing in those pots.

You have turned me into a lover of Heucheras!!!! I will be adding many of these to my yard. Really like the dark foliage, especially against lime green. Video Topics request: I am interested in learning more about how you assess what type of water you need where in your yard. How many faucets did you already have, how many have you added? I have a large yard - front and back. The only facets are on the house and I am tired of dealing with 150+ feet of hose. How do add more water faucets to your yard? What considerations are needed if you are interested in using the new faucet for a hose and drip systems? This seems like a large topic and not sure where to start or how to plan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I just bought a house and have been landscaping and learning. I live in Maryland and am trying to find a pretty ground cover that blooms. I love flowers but I am not a huge fan of planting annuals in this spot every year. I also would like it to look pretty in the winter. Any suggestions?

I saw those coral bells today already at Home Depot. The size Laura has in the video from proven winners where $8.98. Virgoro plants where in general 2 bucks same kinds more than what proven winners asked.The plants they had sitting there looked very leggy. Definitely not as nice as the ones she has.
@SoybeanFarmer33007 жыл бұрын
Claudia Rosa - home depot is not a great place to by plants unless you hit them on the day they received plants from the plant nursery where there was a person growing and caring for them who was on par with Laura's in-depth knowledge. try to find a real plant nursery in your area. starting your project with healthy plants is a lot more fun than nursing something along not to mention not taking certain plant dieses to your garden or landscape.

I don’t care for the black or even any of the dark plants. Up close they are pretty, step back away you just see a black hole. You can’t even tell if there are plants.
