Hey Laura, just sharing my top tips for keeping a leg elevated while working. Grab a cheap kids office chair and take off the back and you get a comfortable height-adjustable leg rest that's on wheels. Perfect to get comfortable while working. And for relaxing grab a beanbag - they conform to the shape of the leg and are so much better than pillows.

How fun! And so pretty! Statice is so easy to grow and keeps its color for a long time, the wreaths are beautiful! Years ago I had a very large basket that I placed in front of my fireplace to help hide the “ash hole” as I used to call it lol I grew Baby’s Breath and Statice to fill it and also added dried Hydrangeas! It was really pretty 🥰

I fell off the roof of my 87 year-old Mom's house onto the concrete patio July 7th and just had my 3rd surgery on my left foot and ankle. Now I'm on the way for complete healing too....yippee!!! These videos have been my breath of fresh air watching them with my wife each morning! You charge my batteries each day. I hope you know what a joy you are Laura doing all this for us to see. You mother is SUCH a sweet person and I do TOTALLY empathize with her situation. A few years back I experienced a terrible break on one of my ankles, it took a very long time to heal as I was in my mid sixties then. I had to stay off my feet for three months during which I thought I’d lose my mind-lol. Actually nothing about it was funny to say the least. I’m 70 now, I think your Mom must be in her 40’s. She is definitely a star! I am also a lefty and had a small widows peak when I was young. My daughter’s husband is active military, so she has spent several years living away from me. I do miss her company but I admire my son-in-law, he is a good man, husband and father, so I cope with it. She is my only daughter, my son isn’t well and does not interact with the family or myself. I always love watching the two of you sharing experiences together, it actually helps me cope. You are blessed, it’s wonderful to see! Thank You Both for sharing so generously 😊

Girl…. Where I live, I deal with that 70-80% humidity with a high dew point 6-8 months out of the year…. Makes it really difficult to get outside to get something done real quickly… I’m usually drenched within 5 minutes .. the wreaths are beautiful

just to let you know how lucky you are: hubby and I worked in the garden last week with 90% and above humidity... this week, we are starting at a much more reasonable 70% but expect to be up over 90% starting tomorrow!... well, what do you expect in NC in the summer... great to see mom up and about...
