I love watching your videos and you have made me want to be in my yard so more this season. I’ve added two new beds and widened two beds. I’m turning 70 this Friday and I truly believe working in my yard more has helped me stayed strong and healthy. Playing in the dirt is so good for our physical and mental health. I’ve been watching for years and this has to be the best season of videos yet. Between the pond and all the magic still being made on your own property, and the two brand new family member gardens in spaces closer to many of our yard sizes, it’s been such an education, but also just FUN. The sprinkler moment had me laughing out loud! 😂 Her yard looks incredible. The transformation is so satisfying and inspiring. I recently started moving dirt to create some levels. My property is mostly flat. But there’s just enough variation that I’m able to create some dynamics by lowering the low areas and raising the higher spots. It’s amazing what some intentional levels and a tiny bit of hardscape can do to define a space and give the garden a sense of order & intent. Thanks for sharing her lovely space

I took your suggestion and watched the video of your last house. Then I found the three part post of the first garden tours of when you moved to your current property. Those begonias look spectacular with the rock wall! Can’t wait to see the new trellis covered in clematis blooms next year and Nick’s gorgeous trellis blooming with honeysuckle. (Must do an update 😊) Tip for Monica, if she put some cattle panel down the center of her raised bed the tomatoes could be tied to it and grow very tall without falling over. Works great for smaller spaces. You two could do a video cooking something yummy with Monica’s rhubarb too. Thank you Monica for sharing your space with us. Love the hydrangeas out front!!

I am thinking back to the first videos where we met Monica. She is so much more comfortable now. The transformation in their back yard is simply amazing! Monica! I love your hair! I have the same hair…dark & kinda curly….I’m going to show the hairstylist. You & Laura remind me of my sis & I. Except we’re 50 & 54! Gulp! Will it ever get any easier…probably not. So…gardening hobby to focus on really helps! ❤ Getting highlights too. Hairstylist told me darker does make me look older. That’s when I knew I’m officially older! Because I’ve always looked younger. No wrinkles! (But dermatologist said it’s because I have seborrheic derm! It prevents wrinkles! Mentioning in case someone else can relate) 😂
