You know those "Save Africa" choirs that were all the rage in the 80s? We need to get a bunch of comedy acts to join in, and do a choir version of this song. Like... let's throw in NSP, TWRP, Steel Panther, Egorapter and a few other acts in here... and just do a full on 80s Charity Choir Song with this.

We do. I know this is satire, but the rich have it harder because they're not used to being poor. I'm glad this is timeless comedy, because it took 9 years for me stumble across it. What I'm more relieved about though, is that the rich survived against all odds during my period of ignorance to their plight before these 3 social activists alerted me to their imminent danger. Otherwise, I'd be devastated from guilt for doing nothing to save America's greatest tradition: replacing royalty with exclusive ownership, and we all know the difference between them and which one is better.

Oh come on. Bernie’s doing the right thing. He’s for the people and that’s what’s important. He may have some wealth, but he’s not rich by many people’s standards. And he’s nothing like Felonious Rump, a born into money billionaire elitist who will promise anything to anyone if it means more money and power for him. He could not care less about his people, otherwise. The two men are in no way similar.

Been a weird al fan my whole life. I wish it were possible to rework our entire economic system and set a flat 10% tax on everyone with NO loopholes for anyone. Everyone seems to think it's "just" or "ok" to point at the "other side" and not recognize that everyone is to blame for our economic state, because we all abuse it. Alot of social programs may end up going out the door with a 10% flat tax, but at least would couldn't argue that everyone isn't paying their "fair share" while we learn to wipe our own asses.
@LootFragg7 жыл бұрын
I agree about the no-loophole policy but a flat tax is exactly what the rich are asking for. The current idea is that the more you earn, the more you are able to spend to benefit society after securing your lifestyle, so taxes increase with income to alleviate the burden on minimum-wagers while still not being too lax on the wealthy. If that sounds too complicated, imagine this: - *Paul earns 1000 bucks a month*. He has to pay rent, power, phone, insurance shit, whatever. Costs 700 total because he lives in a shitty apartment. He spends the remaining 300 on food and the savings go into purchasing pants when his old ones fall apart. Taxing this guy 10% means taking 100 bucks away from him which is critical. - *Peter earns 10.000 bucks a month*. He lives in an expensive neighborhood and pays 4000 monthly for rent and such. After spending 2000 on expensive food and pants to throw at the poor, he still has 4000 left. You tax him 10% of his total income, he doesn't even notice the missing 1000 bucks except that he has to save longer on his next car. - *Donald earns 1.000.000 bucks a month*. His house has a fireplace for burning money because the nigga rich. You take 100k from him and he will complain and grab women by the pussy but even then he finds it hard to spend the remainder because his hands are too small to be tossing that shit out of the window. That's why, generally, there is a minimum poverty threshold and an increasing tax level the more you earn. At a couple of million doshes, you pay like half, leaving you with only half the millions you would normally earn. So if you were in power to impose a flat tax, every rich guy would suck your dick to make that happen.
@anthonymacconnell71797 жыл бұрын
LootFragg thank you did pointing that out. Misconceptions like that are why certain politicians are in office
