So, let me get this straight: this echoMAP CHIRP 7sv (and dv), doesn't use CHIRP for SV and DV, only for traditional mode? Cos, they advertise that it can use CHIRP for DV and SV too. Also, can you please mention the number of the transducer? Information like this is actually hard to grasp, as they copy / paste stuff on their site and in manuals, without making any corrections.

+moose marine Thanks for the reply. I asked this because I didn't see "CHIRP" written near the 455 kHz on the screen, when you showed Dv. The Striker models specifically indicate "CHIRP" near the 455 / 800 kHz frequency. Thanks again for the info.

Hey Moose, can you confirm if the item here (www.sail.ca/en/garmin-echomap-chirp-75dv-470841) has the same functions as the one you previewed? At this price it would be a steatl. BTW, I have a Humminbird Helix 7 on my console and I would like a bow mount. Preferably one I can hook up to my MinnKota transducer. Would you have any recommendations. Thanks in advance for any advice.
