I was about to hit the button on a Makro Pointer, but now...im not sure, well crap, I wish I had been so lucky as these guys lol. . The Garrett electronics beat everyone, they always have. I have a GTI 2500, thats a beast in all metal...and dead on the money. the other thing people dont think about until in the field.... INTERFERENCE.....I saw a video of a pro-pointer vs competitor and the Garrett had NO intereference at all !! the other one freaked all 4 detectors. Garrett rocks.!

I will get one for sure Mr Garrett I drowned my 2nd pro pointer and currently have a whites Bulls-eye trx version its a good powerful pointer but I have alwaye missed my pro pointer but I will get that new garret now that its water proof and stronger coolest is its florescent orange that`s yes yes for me......

Hi guys, Yesterday I was out at the beach, and my pro pointer light was on but it wasn't beeping on metal? I put a coin on to the tip and nothing, it would vibrate a bit if I put the coin on the side. Can this be fixed? ( I changed battery but still same problem) it is about 1 and a half years old. Thanks!

Looks like another hit from Garrett! Question, will I still have to Ground Balance this pointer to my GPX 4500? In the Red Hot soil of Culpeper Va., it is a must to GB the pointer to my detector and also to the ground to eliminate falsing, will I still have to do this? Can't wait to get mine and use it at DIV in March!

i would love to attend div. i live in va but have seen some comments that the ground is too hot for a vlf detector like my at pro. is this true id hate to pay the money and not find anything but id love to go because theres no way to find civil war relics in my area of virginia not much history here and where their were battles is federal land.
