Garth is still a manipulative liar. He was pursuing Trisha amongst us roadie's, and hiding it from the public. Trisha was married to one of The Mavericks. Garth was married to poor Sandy for only 13 months! He ONLY stopped in the middle of that show to pretend he felt "guilty, and has to admit to the audience" blah blah blah. No, he knew the news of his cheating was about to go public. So, he faked feeling guilty, and pretended he was being "brave" and admitting his affair with Trisha. That's the TRUTH!! Then a few years later, he wanted a cut of money from the sale of used CDs of his!!?? If I bought his CD, and sold it a year later for a dollar or two, he thought he should get a cut?? He has more money than God!

Most entertainers have a "harsh" past but I enjoyed his music until he cheated on his wife with a co-worker. I have worked with some beautiful women but I made two promises to my wife. I told her that I would never raise a hand to her and I would never cheat on her. If I want to do either then I will walk away with the clothes on my back. There is no reason to cheat on your family. If you don't love them then cut ties and let them find someone who matters. If any of my Soldiers (seniors or subordinates) cheated on their families I always confronted them and let them know to stay away from me. I did not want their stench on me. If someone will cheat on their family, how can you trust them with anything else. When you apply for a security clearance people who know you are interviewed. If I knew that someone have cheated on their family and I was interviewed for their security clearance, I would always tell the investigator that I would not trust the individual with my truck, dog, family, or the lives of our fellow military personnel.

"When you apply for a security clearance people who know you are interviewed" Actually no they're not, I should say only sometimes because I don't know what kind of clearance they were investigating, but when I was S1 we had multiple investigators come in to ask questions about someone and it literally consisted of them standing at the counter and asking "Did you know that Soldier?" "Yes" "Do you know of any problems they had?" "No" "Any kind of drinking or drug problems?" "No" "OK great, thanks for your time" One time they came in to ask about my old E6 and I was like pleading with them with my eyes, my whole entire body language was like, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask ME what I thought of him, PLEASE, I mean, I was like staring at the guy, and he didn't talk to me at all. I guess that's what you get for being a E4 POG.

it depends on the people and their perception of sharing. almost all relationships start out sharing where neither person intends in the slightest to disown everyone else they have known or sleep with. being in a more open relationship is usually longer lasting. females know its going to take place anyway if they dont allow it dont like it they can often be dumped.

Everyone in his band/entourage was either family or old friends and one of them told Sandy. Sandy showed up at one of the stops. @@PsychoKillertheGame No thats simply an excuse. I wonder do people who get married pay any attention AT ALL to those vows they repeat before all those in attendance at their wedding and in the sight of God? Do they mean NOTHING? Marriage isnt always easy. Is in fact a lot of damn WORK sometimes! We seem to have unrealistic expectations of marriage these days and if its not complete bliss all the time we think we deserve to throw in the towel and move on. The truth is this: romantic love fades away in a few years. If your not very good friends with things in common to begin with? You wont make it. Love ebbs and flows. When it ebbs you just gotta hold on for dear life and try to remember all you fell in love with about that person to get thru those hard times and be grateful when the love begins flowing again. It helps if you both have God in your life to help give you strength in the rough times and a good marriage counselor can sometimes work miracles. When we choose our life partners we should use our BRAINS as much as we follow our hearts. We can allow ourselves to be attracted to and swept away by ANYONE. That doesnt mean we will be compatible

This is a sad way to look at life. Every experience, every sadness, every joy moves you one step closer to the person God intended you to be. EVERYTHING happens for a reason. I was married, and divorced, twice. I would do it all again to find the love and happiness I now have, with my soulmate and third husband. We don't always get things right on the first or even second try. Every long lost dream, led me to where we are... They say when you know, you know... Garth knew the first time he met Trisha, however he put in 13 more years to try and MAKE it work. True love is natural and joyous and easy. 👍 Mr Yearwood, you are one of my favorites.

One thing I have learned is it is very strange to have an ex. If you spent your life with a woman then move on from one another life takes a lot of adjusting. You have molded your life around this person and expected for life to be this way forever then all of a sudden your alone. You have to go through life with the memories and regret. It is even worse if your ex doesn’t care. Your left with all the emotions.

I used to absolutely adore Garth Brooks at the height of his career in the 1990’s. Like many others I lost a lot of respect for him after he divorced Sandy. How could he do that to Sandy after she worked 3 jobs to help him achieve his dreams, stayed home and raised 3 babies as mostly a single parent while he toured the world. He seemed like just another cheating dog of a man. Then I watched his documentary and listened to both his side of the story and Sandy’s. Sandy spoke very highly of him and Trisha. She even gave her blessing for them to marry. They had worked out a co parenting arrangement that most should duplicate. Those kids are loved and well adjusted and get along great with Trisha. If Sandy can accept Trisha and be willing to live down the road from her and let her children have a loving relationship with her, than who are the rest of us to judge? I have heard from more than one person who lives in their hometown that Sandy was not always a saint when it came to her marriage vows either. That she had a few affairs while Garth was away so much. Who can blame her though? He atleast was honest about his feelings. How many male country stars lied about their affairs and then later married them ( Vince Gill, Jason Aldean, and more) . Bottom line, they married young, and sometimes when you marry young you change overtime.Add to that, the extra stress of long abscences.I think they were falling apart as time went on.Sandy even hints at that in the documentary. Do I still adore him? Not as much as I did, but I atleast can understand the situation more now that I am older. At the end of the day, Garth and Sandy and the children are all healthy and happy in life. That is all that matters.

Life is a funny thing. We live, we love, and we often change. Embrace change accept it and move on. Letting go of your past and moving forward are all good things, it’s part of being a mature adult. Meeting the love of your life after you married young happens. Either you let go and move forward or you make the best of what you have. I’m not here to judge, I leave that up to my God... but when things change I have learned to accept things and to be a mature adult and be at Peace with everything. Glad to see they are all happy well adjusted adults who have made the best of the changes life throws at you.
