I listen a lot to ‘Same Thing’ from the 1993 Jericho Album. Headphones on and just hear what’s going on under the main track. 😮

To me it's those incredible piano runs he did on The Weight on the album version of that song. I haven't heard anyone do it like that since. So perfect and so musical. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear that song. The Band are all from Southern Ontario except for Levon Helm. Simcoe, Stratford, Brantford 6 Nations, and London where I am from. I just think how miraculous fate was that brought those musicians together and how strange that they inspired a new genre of music called Americana. Garth with the rest of The Band took us all on a glorious musical journey. I think of the lyrics near the end of the song The Weight which makes it bitter sweet knowing all of The Band have now passed on. "To catch a canon ball now to take me down the line, my bag is sinking low and I do believe its time".

CBC. Your garish logo stuck in the lower right hides this man's hands at work. No where else on KZbin do I see such a slap on the face (hands) as I do here. Your marvelous presentation is marred by your designer's ego. Sad.
