Sorry to hear about swamp thing. Ironically as I’m watching this video my grandsons Kia I did a video on that tangled with a deer, was stolen last night. He just picked it up yesterday after months of putting it back together. I still haven’t finished editing the follow up video. I understood everything you didn’t say in the family unfriendly section. Hey Garth, chin up bud, we are all thinking good thoughts for you and yours, even from way down under here in New Zealand. I was in a dark place four years ago but us blokes can get through stuff and projects are a good way to keep the brain ticking over and distract the grey matter while we sort out a fix or five. You do you, keep spinning wrenches, the other stuff will sort out one way or another. Roof over the head, food in the belly and not leaking body fluids are the main bits to get right, all else is a bonus.

Concerning the starter, the critters might have packed nuts and debris into it as well as the exhaust. It commonly happens here in NC and VA where I'm originally from. God bless brother!

Green plug is the MAP sensor I believe, the square one that’s all broken up should be the IAC (idle air control) and the one next to that should be the TPS. It’s been a while but I think that’s what they are. My 89 Firebird was a Tune port but I’ve worked on a few TBI’s hope this helps

Please rescue the other wrecker. Also, the wiring on the firebird, there’s two sets of plugs that connect to the throttle body, one set plugs into the injectors, and the second set plugs into the tps sensor. The other set further back plugs into the map sensor.

Holy Cow, Garth! I have a complete power front and rear seat set for that car I'd just GIVE you. Cept you are in Texas, and I'm in Alabama! I got them to put in a 71 Camaro, but ended up using power leather seats out of a Pontiac G8.

Sucks someone stole the truck and trashed it, I just hate thieves, taking what's not theirs! Last year I had my 1980 Honda dirtbike stolen out of my backyard, probably never see it again because I didn't have a title for it and didn't have the vin written down anywhere, also didn't have any cameras but I have cameras now!
