This was the last song my husband sent to me. He died unexpectedly couple weeks ago. He ment everything to me. Will carry our love for the rest of my life hoping to meet him soon.

Somewhere he's looking down smiling knowing he lived a good life meeting you . It's a beautiful thing you'll still remember him , cus losing not only a love one but your" love" is the worse feeling ever. However I know from experience you'll heal with time. Wishing you all best and good healing ✨

I used to see him at The Continental Club here in Austin,TX. Afterwards we would sit and have a beer, shoot the breeze, end the night with a handshake and a hug. Those days are over... Back then he was Gary Clark. Took me forever to get used to jr... I'm happy that all his hard work paid off. Great guy. Super nice. So happy to have been there before he made it big. Amazing song!

+Youknowmusicismydrug Thanks for that man! That's so awesome to hear! I know you've met him for sure by saying he's quiet. That's Gary... I guess he let's his music speak for himself. He used to play with a female artist named Eve Monsees. Great musician as well. She's actually the one that got him started. They were, and still are like brother and sister. So awesome you got to meet him. Take care, and thank you again...

In this world of clutter and pain our minds are easily transported into a spiritual realm of existence by lyrical genius, voicing and melody lines. To say the world has not touched us with musical soulfulness and climactic riffs can only be reflective of those never being fortunate enough to experience the GARY CLARK MAGIC - such a refreshing performer and mindful guardian of the soul.

Roy - I agree with you the more I listen to his albums. But he really had the 'Hendrix vibe' going during the live show of his that I attended here in Santa Barbara. I think he's one of those artists that sound so much better live than in the studio. Joe Bonamassa also falls into that category for me.
