This is a terrific tribute. Thank you for sharing it with us. Coop is my idol. He is an amazing, natural talented actor, a great father and a great man. He's well loved by all. It saddens me he passed away so young. He'll always be remembered, missed and loved. Rest in peace Coop!

Gary and Rocky Cooper's modern mid century home still sits in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles looking ever so beautiful. It's very contemporary looking. Lots of glass, sharp angles and soaring ceilings. It was built in 1955.

Gary Cooper sir was as fine a gentleman as this country could give, He was down to earth, had common sense and NEVER would he hit a woman! He represented the finest qualities of being a real man as any of these so called modern day actors today, the only one who just might stand in his shadow maybe would be,,Viggo Mortenson,,Cooper hitting a woman..ABSURD!

Who are these Bozo's who say Cooper was a bisexual. I mean if he was that's fine. He was a great actor and I still love him. I read something similar about Burt Lancaster, but it seemed to have more truth to it about Burt. What's the deal? Do you know? Just because Hemingway or other men liked him does not mean he recipricated.

I don't see why any of this is relevant, the man was a great actor..his private life should remain so, his own. He is not here to defend any allegations. Just enjoy what he gave to the entertainment industry. R.I.P. Gary.

@mfan0825 Ummmmm, that is very UNtrue friend. Not sure what tabloids you are reading ... it's common for all the main stars to have their names and reps slurred and have false accusations thrown at them for the sake of sells in the way of scandal or sensation.

I feel like the "theater" comment was a bit uncalled for, given the circumstances, as if they felt the need to tie his funeral back to show business. But, then, Hollywood newsreels are full of this kind of thing.
