no pain no gain in this situation... The hospital has to clean the wounds, they know what they are doing. I wish they would be able to give him something to tolerate the pain..I know it must be horrible.. years ago I had a wound that I got cleaned daily, went to the clinic..it healed without infection. cleaning is a must! He is a handsome young man.. I hope he gets the bravery to continue on.

I disagree with the statement that pot leads to heavier drugs. 😮 I've done pot for many years for pain in my back I'm 68 and have NEVER done any other drug. My doctors have prescribed Opioids for me but I refuse to take them. I smoke a little pot and the pain eases so I can move some. Sorry but that is my opinion it's a choice to go to higher drugs they can be avoided. A person just has to have that awareness NOT to do them. God bless you for what you do. ❤

He probably just went out the door with the chair. I had my leg amputated and was able to go out n sneak a smoke...so easy to do. I get wound care every week it's rough

Years ago I used to know a homeless man named Charlie, Gary reminds me of him so much. Charlie was always at the bus stop near 19th and Northern, and I always talked to him while I waited for my bus, I'd bring him bagels and coffee from Einsteins. One day he was just gone. 😞

I'm from the Caribbean and as I am writing this comment, tears are running down my face for Gary. He needs help and as I watch him bearly able to move the wheelchair, it's really hard and painful for him, it's visible....
