I rate the original version of She Talks In Stereo Top 3 in LA new wave with Yellow Pills by 20/20 & Hurt by Code Blue right with it. The Geffen record is underrated.

I read about that Bruce Wooley disc being released and sort of forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder, Schnee! Gotta get that ordered! I've only ever had English Garden on a comp. Would also LOVE to find a Tom Dickie and The Desires! The Divinyls album you were referencing is Underworld and from what I understand, it was never released in the US. (?) As far as Gary Myrick goes, I love the 1st record and it seems to fit right in with the New Wave. Beyond that, I just couldn't get into any of those follow ups. It's been forever though - maybe I'll revisit.

Hi Keith. I don't think Tom Dickie will ever be released on CD although I did transfer both vinyl LPs to digital and cleaned up the sound.... And yes, Underworld is the Divinyls album I was thinking about. Never heard a lick from it!

The only thing I know by Gary is a song on the Guitar Speak III album. It's called That Boy's Evil. It is a really heavy surf instrumental.
