getting back into the game of Archery after a decade off I am wiser then I was at 18-19 years old. This video has had a revolutionary effect on my tunning process.

This tool just open my mind about arrow building process because when I shot my target arrows out of dozen I found between 2 or 4 was low or high and I keep turn the nock to get it back and took me 2 or 3 days to shoot bareshaft till im feeling good about and then fletch it good to know

What do you use at the ends of the arrow? It would be great if you could do a step by step how to video.

+Brian Spears Both ends of the arrow just had arrow points stuck inside the shaft, not glued since one end will be removed after this test. A step by step video could be something in the future!

Gary, my question is do you use a nibb in both ends or can I use a pin bushing in one end and a nibb in the other end? Which will give me the best reading of spine location?

Terry. Will it bend right and left and down. Just won't go up? If so that is pretty normal in a horizontal test.

Terry. Can u tell us what spine arrow u r trying to check? Are u using a last chance press? Maybe u r checking a 500 or 600 spine arrow? Maybe the shaft u r checking has a really equal spine all the way around. In these cases u will need to have the press vertical. Also u need to make sure u r pressing the arrow in a straight line right down the center of the shaft. Please give us more info if u can and we will try to help u Thanks Gary

I've tried 400 330 and 340 and every time they bend down even if I rotate them. And we used one CX shaft don't remember the size on it with the same results. I couldn't tell in the video but I'm sure you are using points in both ends of the shaft. I'm not giving up yet would like to have the one Dorge Wang makes but hard to shell out $700 for it. And yes I have a Last Chance press.

That is weird. . Are u sure it is pressing in a straight line? Did u try it vertically? Yes point on each end. Do u have to point against a solid flat post or wall that is perpendicular to the shaft?

gary studt I've tried everything and I feel like it is giving me a fair read but it make no sense why it won't bend up when I turn it. I'll figure it out I'm not one to quit that easy!! Thanks guy's and keep up the good work.

I've tried this and my arrow always bends downward. I'm using tips in both ends of my arrow. What am I doing wrong?

does this work on my aluminum X27's or just on carbon?
@LCArchery9 жыл бұрын
+Austin Mason I don't believe it will work with Aluminum.

Do you even bother to tell part tune anymore?

A 27 ain't going to flex out of your bow... Don't do this w/ aluminums you'll just end up bending them.

If you purchase good quality arrows you don't need to do this!
