I had a lot of mogo (cassava) growing up as my mum is East African born. It's a versatile vegetable, not far off from potatoes. They are nice chipped, like you had them but we also have them cooked in coconut cream which is a great comfort food. They're not pronounced rhyming with 'logo' btw, haha. More like 'moggo' with the 'o' like the 'o' in the word 'off'. Otherwise just look for it as 'cassava'.

Same here, grew up up eating mogo from early childhood. Remember taking it to school and getting strange looks. Still eat it regularly and absolutely love it. Great choice by Gary to select this dish. It did look really good. But I'm still not impressed with Gary's naan eating skills!

Ooh lamb samosas. Tarka Dhal. Brilliant traditional choices. Love them both. The food looks delicious. Excellent presentation. I love it when a dish hits back at you unexpectedly. Black pepper is just excellent in a curry. The Tarka is just a wonderful dish with a curry. It's fallen out of fashion a bit but I love it with a naan and don't have rice. Very large portions there. It's a meal for two there at least. That place is yet another 10. It's on my list for a visit! I love curry. £50 for two is cheap! Great review of a great place. At that price it has to be a 10.

Wow. That is highly impressive. Excellent presentation and portion size. The marsala sauce with the chicken looks full on delicious. Have me salivating over here. Not in the UK so not an easy visit to the Regency Club but it is on the agenda for my next visit. Utopia says it all. That 15 quid lunch menu is an absolute bargain. Personally I would give this as one of your best restaurants. You present really well Gary and thanks for the fun watch.

I was drooling at this one, Gary, for me, I would have cleaned up on every dish. And, 9.5 is a spot-on evaluation. As someone once said, ‘true love is about finding an open door to a really great restaurant’ - I believe therefore that you were painlessly speared by one of Cupids’ culinary arrows.
