I know this is an older video, but thanks for making it. I took over as ground keeper at JAARS, this is the system they have. I've watched other videos tonight on programming this system, then was about to decide to set it all on fire lol, but after watching your video I feel comfortable programming all of them tomorrow of course your video will be pulled up. Stay safe and 2 thumbs up 👍

Thanks for great and simple video. Please help me out as I still don't understand why would I need so many start times AND programs. When you already have 4 different start time options... Why 2 additional programs? Spring, summer, autumn? And 4 start times each? Seems too much but maybe I'm not seeing something. Thanks again.
@garyssprinklerrepair3 жыл бұрын
The additional programs would be it’d the Gardner came on Wed and asked you to leave the lawns off. You could put them in A prog. Then put all the plants in B prog and they could still water everyday. Let’s say you had a veg. Garden or tree zone and only wanted to water that only 2 days a week you could put it in C prog. Hope that clears thing s up!

Quick question I helped my dad program one of these timers last Saturday. The issue is that the timer is going on automatically I set up everything properly, but where it says OFF in the modes you go through is that why the timer doesn’t turn on automatically?
@garyssprinklerrepair3 жыл бұрын
Yes leave it on the wake up screen, that’s the screen you see when you begin. Make sure the “off” isn’t on, or auto start won’t work. Hope that helped answer your question. Don’t forget to Subscribe to our Channel 👋

I put a second zone. how do i cancel it?
@garyssprinklerrepair3 жыл бұрын
I’m assuming you mean a second start time. Just go to start times then next until the second time shows, scroll to midnight it will change to off done.
@leemx44733 жыл бұрын
In case you did mean a second zone, my guess is: set run time to zero on second zone.

I don't have a Hunter Valve so You need to show me How to Install that First.
@garyssprinklerrepair5 жыл бұрын
This works with any valve, you would just have to find away to mount the timer to something maybe a piece of 1/2 PVC with a 3/4 male adapter glued to the top. I have a video that shows how to install a sprinkler valve on my channel. Thx for the great comment✌️
