Gary, I've only been following you for the past six months or so. To go back in time and hear you speak is a real treat. I admire your hustle and it seems you've actually turned up the heat as you continue to build the Gary Vee brand. I also know there's no point in telling you to keep up the good work... you obviously only know one speed -- wide open!

A Lot of people today watch Gary and still criticize him and also they mix up his message between being happy and having self awareness being his most important traits . His business comes second but its what he works his ass off for , thats why he's still on top. Most people don't even know his path and longggg journey of grind his whole life lmao. Gary vee is beyond his years before the years even came. This man does his research at an exponential rate and his work ethic cant be compared to many . He is one of a kind

Great interview, even a year later. I so appreciate Gary's philosophy and how real and genuine he is. His book Crush It was the catalyst and the validation I needed to begin my own business. What he says is common sense + business savvy + good stortytelling. He's genius. Thank you Gary V!

Holy Crap!! Gary looks so young!! I can't believe this was 2011 and that I missed all those years of learning from him! (i've been following him for about a year since I read about him in Seth Godins Lynchpin) He was as on-point then as he is now. What an amazing source of information he is. Wish i'd found out about him sooner

Gary, you really got the guts to say you are better than everyone out there. The important part is there wasn't any ego attached in the tone. You really mean what you said. I really did pick up couple of points and carry that as my learning from now onwards going to look at social media in a different view. Thanks for that.

There are SO many "business" consultants in the market preying on organizations by using buzzwords to control budgets, but Gary is the REAL DEAL. I got to see him speak at the DrivingSales Executive Summit in Vegas and, much like his books, he crushed the audience with his passion. He is one of the few that truly understands the future of business (read: social) engagement. I live by the same coda and have been building my personal and business brand the same way Gary preaches. Go @garyvee !

For me, this is the best video I’ve watched from you as it contextualises everything. Many more examples and even though it’s 5/6 years old it has the same thesis as everything else!! For a small KZbind like myself that was inspired to restart an idea that I gave up on 3 years ago, this was a great watch and fires me up to make more content. Ps: I love the super old videos with just you and any old camera. It makes me think about just posting to see what comes of it.

One of your Big Ideas! - Social media lets you start the conversation at a deeper level when you are in person. I see this with my facebook circle when we get together for club meetings. Instead of trying to build connection/relationship starting at the weather, we start with what we have been sharing on Facebook. And start to ask informed questions (and are better able to avoid social landmines by what they shared). Oh and don't forget Gary's 'And I am going to outwork everyone'.

November 2019 and this bombshell of content dropped by @garyvee is still so very relevant today as it was 9 years ago in fact it's more relevant. Gary is a true visionary and if you're not listening to him you are missing more than just the boat! I started watching Wine Library back in 2005 after a weekend trip to Justin Winery in Paso Robles. I think he was on like episode 33. Later he said it took him until after episode 100 to start getting any sort of real traction. Now here he is in 2011 telling Piers Morgan VaynerMedia gets between $20k and $30k a month to consult with big corporations. I don't have the number but I bet its a helluva lot more today in the end of 2019. I bet getting @garyvee for $30k back in 2011 would have been like buying Apple Stock 20 years ago. I bet it's 10X that $30k today and likely the best investment companies can make and that's IF they can fit you in at VaynerMedia. If you think Gary won't end up owning the @NyJets one day, your a fool. Not only will @GaryVee own the Jets, with Gary in charge and the talks he will be giving in the locker room The Jets will win back to back Super Bowls in the first 3 years under Garyvee's ownership. You heard it here first! #GaryVeeOnFire #BusinessmanOfTheCentury #NoBS #GaryVeeOwnsTheInternet #SimplyTheBest #BeastMode

I agree with everything you said. However, you seem to miss the point here; I am not talking about the ongoing growth of a company; I am talking about starting a company from scratch; money plays an important role on a company's creation. The higher is your initial investment, the bigger your company will get.
